We are one year in, and we have found a simple setup that works for me while I am also doing PA and music. So that’s PA, walkup songs, between inning music, all while live streaming with play-by-play audio. Here’s our setup: iPad Pro with SidelineHD Cam iPad mini for scoring on SidelineHD USB-C hub to bring in Ethernet, power, and audio via Rode Wireless Go II. I wear one mic and the other transmitter is connected to a Rode shotgun mic behind the backstop. It’s a lot for one person, but it’s the simplest way I’ve found.

It is a LOT for one person, and if you have found a way to make it work, I commend you! But this is also proof the simple setups often are most effective. Thanks for sharing!

The Multicam setup was what was making it untenable. By giving up multiple angles, I was able to free myself from playing director on top of the rest of my jobs. Also, without wiring all of my Mevos to Ethernet, I simply could not create a consistent and quality stream. Simpler, in this case, is better.

Yep. Got my rig set up for baseball which is about to start. 4 cameras, Mevo Multicam, SmoothWAN on Slate router, Speedify, and an outfield pitcher/batter cam. Seems to work but i’m nervous.

My set up: Predator Computer that I run my V-Mix program. I use 3 Mevos with NDI and have a Canon XA-11(if I need it), Rodecaster for audio and an LTE wireless modem & router that will search for a 5g or a 2.5 signal. I probably need to learn the Mevo Multi cam way with the I Pad an how to work in the Sideline HD. Jason, can you direct me to the vid where you showed your set up and maybe do an updated one now that the tech is updating. My goal, to be the best with the least. To be a rapid deployment force of one, ready to go anywhere, anytime, efficiently, effectively and expediently, I borrowed this line from the Salvation Army. To do the most good. Final note: Keep pressing Just go Live Y'all, you'll fail sometimes, but if you keep grinding, you'll fail forward

I've pretty much gotten to the point where the only issue is the cellular signal. Even with Speedify, I catch myself every now and then a slave to the quality of the signal. But with your advice, sir, it's getting better every time!

Glad to hear of the progress! The cellular is still the one thing. Do you know of anyone using Starlink? I’ve wondered if their RV solution would work for folks who do a ton of mobile streaming.
