Even when I'm manically skipping through videos with my usual impatience, I simply have to watch yours from start to finish. They're just too good, too entertaining to risk missing anything. In fact, at one point I considered we might be friends. Then you sold the Santos. Who needs friends like that?

I love the dial design of the Bronze, I hope they bring it over to the regular BB58s with all their colour and material options.

The only Tudor BB I'd consider. Really intrigued how that bronze will wear over time, and that dial layout is spot on.

I don't think the bronze would work with the rest of my style, but I do love the numerals, and that new clasp. I really do hope that gets moved to the rest of the line.

I truly think this is the best looking 58. I’ve tried it on and it’s beautiful. However, I’m still a little unsure about the bronze. I’ve got the bronze Oris pointer date already, I love it. I’m just not sure about going all bronze with bracelet too!

When Tudor came out with this version I was also initially attracted to it and even made it on a waiting list.... But I changed my mind immediately in the moment when I suddenly realized that the watch my heart really wants is a Rolex 1675/8.....

Great video! I picked one of these up last week and could not be happier. I have been wearing mine on the included fabric strap, which is insanely nice feeling. The fabric straps Tudor include are made by some old dude in a dimly lit barn in the countryside of France or something along those lines, and you can really see and feel the difference. These are the small things that Tudor does to make it that much better.

Rolex uses Eurostile everywhere, on most bezels and on the dials of the Air-King and Explorer. It’s a font that is really widespread in the watch world. It was designed in 1962 and said to be inspired by modern tech such as TV screens 😊 Eurostile is also the go to font for any science fiction film you can think of. For some reason it still seems to suggest the future and modernity to this day.

Got one a few days ago SS blue dial. Man that thing is gorgeous in person. Also, it was refreshing to walk into an AD and actually walk out wearing the piece I went in to purchase. The blue is a shade that is just hard to describe but it is not like the blue seen on the SM300. Mesmerizing to look at and the size is just perfect.

There was that one Hodinkee article with some diver fearlessly wearing a gold Sub on all his dives. I would cosplay the BB58 bronze all day, fearlessly running errands and doing the dishes.

0:54 I believe there were three bronze Tudors before the 58, and it's by far my favourite one to say out loud: Black Bay Bronze Bucherer Blue, or BBBBB! made as an exclusive model for Bucherer. =)

I love mine. It's awesome. The dial, colouration, the 3,6,9 indices and overall look. Mine has about the same patina. For me, it doesn't get too much wrist time in my summer subtropical climate, as it does mark my wrist with a green/black stain, and adds a metal smell to the mix as well, which not many people mention. It's a watch with character and personality though, and I enjoy it very much. Thanks for the video.

Yesterday, I.D. Guy released a video on a potential BB58 GMT. The renders made me drool. So I guess the thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger on any BB is the fear that some version that speaks even more to me is already in Tudor's pipeline. Greetings from Germany, where we also say aluminiumunnum.

The design is exactly why I got the 43mm slate gray black bay. The numerals and color palate are just more fun to me compared to other Tudor offerings.

My OCD couldn't handle the oxidation of the material, so nope for me. I like shiny steel and gold.

Why Hodinkee or someone hasn’t snapped you up to take over video production is beyond me. Your videos are best in bus. And that’s even considering the recent revelations that you sold your Cartier and that your wrist is t really 7”.

I have both a 39mm Explorer and a blue BB58. I agree that 39mm cases wear really well and I do think the clasp update would be great! Currently, I have an itch for a bronze 39mm watch and seems like Spitfire is at the top. But this... this bronze BB58... ooof. I want it too.

I’ve got two BB58 and the spb143, and I gotta tell that they’ve got a thing about them, that is not easy to quantify. They are just cool. I’ve got watches from their big brothers - Rolex and GS respectively, and although they are incredible, they don’t have this “cool” factor. It is not easy to explain.

This in a steel version. Love the 3-6-9. I can overlook the faux rivets. I think.

Wearing my Oris Cotton Candy (blue) on the bronze bracelet today. Very different watch but also has a fantastic bracelet and doesn’t have the fake rivets on the sides.

I have to agree with your sentiments about the steel Tudor BB58, it is to humdrum and plain for my tastes, but I do get why they are popular among the watch community. I don't think I could wear the bronze one either, it is too much. I always thought I wanted a bronze watch, so I bought went in at the cheaper end first with a bronze Christoper Ward Trident (with Green ombre dial) and I'm finding it hard to match my daily wear. My wedding ring is silver too so it doesn't match with that either lol. I think I'll stick with steel or Titanium watches from here on.

I'd kill for that adjustable bracelet on my BB58 Navy Blue. For me, it is the perfect watch, except that I seem to be perpetually between two sizes that require adding and removing a link, seasonally.

I also like the 3-6-9 dial, but I am not a fan of the patina. I own and wear daily a black BB58 on a leather strap. The leather enhances the warm gilt tones in a way a steel bracelet can not do. I love everything about my Tudor (and mine has zero imperfections under a loupe).

Why are the best watch designs always limited? I really don't understand it. Take your Doxa Silverlung as another example.

when bb58 officially released with the OG, i immediately went and tried it. but did not spark to me and just let it go, same goes with the blue dial bb58. but oh man, after seeing the bb58 bronze, last year in August 2021, it spoke to me and immediately bought it. eversince that day, it is my daily watch and seldom wear my rolex batman and omega Speedmaster..

Can I complain about Tudor releasing nothing but Black Bays? I own one, I feel like I should be entitled to make that assertion. I'm glad you like it, they really do make a Black Bay for everyone... on earth. One thing, I wish Tudor or hell anyone for that matter that's not Timex or FP Journe would make an aluminum watch. That would be something to wear when going into the boot of your saloon.

was in the boutique in hamburg and could have actually bought it right there. I researched the patina on reddit and then didnt go for it after what I saw there. The watch is an absolute dream while its new but after just a short period of time it has a totally different look which I dont like. wish they would have done a different alloy that doesnt build up such a strong patina like this

Get the silver BB58 you'll love it. I have one and after I bought it I sold my blue and my black BB58 versions because they are just not as good. Hopefully as you say they will offer the TFit bracelet in steel or in my case silver as an after market option. The Tudor BB58 really is a great watch.

My POV: I’m a one-watch guy that bought a Rolex because anything less was not going to satisfy the urge and I wanted something that would last the generations. This Tudor is just a little bit less money but it’s not a Rolex and not sure how the bronze patina will look in even 5 years. Thanks for the review though.

I have the 43mm version, the patina is incredible, love the original Explorer style numerals, the lume, the color way, this version is cool but with bronze, bigger is better :)

I ordered one from a boutique last year and got a call last month to say it was in When I went to give my details and where to send it the salesman sadly informed me it would have to be collected and paid in person So near to a nice place

The dust moves on the dial around, they do try to deliver watches without but some particles are hiding in corners. I have a view watches where there was no dust visible at the first week but shown up later.

I don't like this watch ..."am I broken"? I simply prefer steel rather than bronze (don't hate me) however this video does remind me that Tudor has the tools in its arsenal to make me add more of their products to my collection. Case dimensions that are perfect for my wrist, great movements and a quick adjust bracelet. Combine these elements to make a GMT v.2... I'm in.
