Bette’s name is pronounced like “Bet.” The last e is silent… 😅 which is ironic because her mom named her after Bette Davis, where you do pronounce the e at the end.. 🤷🏼‍♂️😊

I read an interview where she said her mom thought Bette Davis' name was French with a silent e at the end, hence the pronunciation of The Divine Miss M's name.

I love this movie. Not enough have reacted to it so you got my sub simply because you did lol. Can't wait when you hit big numbers and I can be like yeah, I was there at the start hehe. One that hasn't been done much but is fabulous and has Dianne Keaton is father of the bride one and two, the second one is actually as good if not better.

Thanks, Mozy! 🥂 I love this one. It was directed by Hugh Wilson. Another by him you'd probably enjoy is BLAST FROM THE PAST (1999). 🔸 As for the primary cast... you really need see *Goldie* *Hawn* in FOUL PLAY (1978), SEEMS LIKE OLD TIMES (1980), PRIVATE BENJAMIN (1980) and OVERBOARD (1987). 🔸 As for *Bette* *Midler* - she's in two great dramas, so have your tissues ready for THE ROSE (1979) and BEACHES (1988). But she'll make you laugh again in BIG BUSINESS (1988). 🔸 Now, *Diane* *Keaton* ... she's been in tons worth watching for any budding cinephile, but if you had to pick only one, it would be ANNIE HALL (1977).

I have been watching your reactions only recently, and I have been enjoying them. As far as movies featuring Bette Midler, i can recommend two from the '80s: "Ruthless People" (1986) "Beaches" (1988) Keep up the good content!

Given how much you loved this movie you should check out both Book Club Movies and 80 for Brady because with all three you get to see iconic actresses of the past just embracing who they are and having fun with fun plots and Diane Keaton is in the Book Club movies.
