Boat camping on the harbour was a blast but time to pack the boat tent away and head out with my mate for a spot of fishing... and it was on! Plus a delicious catch and cook making the most of the days catch.

Hi Mate, always love seeing your posts pop up. I am excited to say that in the next week or so, I will take delivery of my very own 1450 for Northside Marine. A couple of months back, I spoke with Jason about upgrading my tinny, and without hesitation, he handed me the Stabicraft brochure. I think I was instantly hooked, but your videos made the 1450 an easy choice. This morning, I got a sneak peek of some of the 2024 1450 upgrades and, must say, some very pleasant surprises. It just get better and better, I plan on putting a video up so people can see. Keep up the great work; your openness and transparency are refreshing. Any man who ventures into the ocean in a Kayak is someone to be respected. You are a braver man than I am. I would be keen for a 1450 dual trip one day if you are up to it.

Not sure if I told you but you were my first KZfaq subscription. From the kayak to the better kayak to the small inflatable to quitting your job to the bigger inflatable to the boat... Your episodes are like a fishing trip. That's why I Love them. You have great trips, bad trips and everything in between. But we get to see the set up, maybe the location or drive, the cool morning start out on the water. Such a treat, all of it. Thanks, Rod, for the continued excellent filming, trips, good, bad and all the effort into your awesome editing. My first channel and hopefully my longest lasting :)

Half a lifetime ago when I lived in Rose Bay (now up in QLD), we used to fish the wooden white markers in the harbor for kings, flicking plastics and dropping a live bait more often then not resulted in a king. The corner of Rose Bay/Vaucluse was always worth a troll at first light in the summer months.

That's such a blast when you get a bunch of hot fish stacked up underneath you! Those Bonito are hard fighters, looked like a lot of fun. And that bait that had the clean bite taken out at 7:53 - like you said, holy smokes! Was that a tailor? Bad ass fish, whatever it was. No skinny dipping there for me, he'd take your pecker clean off! Always a great way to start the weekend, thanks and take care Rod.

Your in the right spot for livies at the first place. I find burley really helps! Small sinker the size of a pea and smaller hook sabikis so it floats a bit more naturally. And go right in to the corner where it's shallow.
