I feel like you could update this for a 6th addition. weapon starvers. like a throw pro who prioritises every weapon spawn over fighting just to ensure youre stock is useless by the time you get one unless you get good rng weapon spawn. Yeah unarmed is a thing but youre still at a dissadvantage unarmed and that can be a pretty disheartening thing to have to overcome. Its just not fun.

I liked the video. I definitely give it a thumbs up. When I play, I normally play either free-for-all or Ranked 1x1. My play style: in FFA it’s every person for him or her self. For every person, you’re fighting 1 against 3, so it’s a fight for survival. HOWEVER, in Rnk1x1, It is 1 on 1 tournament style. For me, that is Honorable Combat. I follow 3 personal rules. 1)If you have a weapon, let your opponent pick up a weapon, and give them enough room to do so. 2a)Never attack an unarmed opponent UNLESS they attack you first. 2b)If they Do attack you without a weapon, Don’t bring the heat unless the won’t take the hint. 3)Once you are both are in equal positions(both armed or both unarmed), it’s on. So once your opponent grabs their weapon, bring the heat. I call this style “honorable warriors”. My son says that I am being too nice. Is being too nice annoying?

Speaking of BMers, I joined the Brawlhalla League Discord, greeted by someone saying the game was not good and then proceeded to call me smartass because he told me to "just play the game" and when I said that that's it not enough to learn better core mechanics, then he proceeded to call me names, another guy decided it was good to call me a "clown" because of it. I've been playing the game for 2 days! And it already feels like it's full of elitists and people who can't understand there's new people sometimes.

You know the one's i hate the most Lucian, the EVASIVES! The one's that will get a few kills and get to the top of the board and then just run away constantly and focus all their effort into running away and don't even bother to engage anymore. They're annoying as heck to fight as i came here for an epic fight, even if i get shit stomped i can say it was a good fight and i lost to someone who was just better than me. But i boot up Brawlhalla to FIGHT; if i wanted to play a game of TAG, I'd play Dead by Daylight.

I'm probably going to start spamming because I've realized I like, never use signature attacks in my matches. So I might start spamming to remind myself that they're there. To balance out my spamming with absent use.

I met such a friendly player the other day they just were so fare and didn’t want to fight much we stood there emoting then we tried to decided who should win and had the final battle never respected a player so much it’s just the toxic ones that ruin the expirence

It’s the worst when you’re on Xbox and they go out of their way to dm you saying that you’re trash or a noob etc etc, I usually ask what they hope to achieve by insulting me but they usually never respond or just say “cause you’re trash”. But my biggest pet peeve is when you block them and they use an alternative account just to annoy you even more

The best way to counter a passive player is to come right back at them with the throw pro strat. I know its kinda cheap, but what they're doing is cheaper in my opinion.

As someone that just got the game this week i will say that as a beginner i spam just one or 2 moves since thats all i currently know how to use effectively, i realize its not the best battle strategy but its the best i currently have. Its also the best way to learn knew combos and moves just spamming them nonstop until its second nature

Here's a thing all idiotic toxic players should say to spammers. Instead of saying, "haha spammers you bad, you lost lol you suck", say, "you rely on sigs too much". It makes everything that much sweeter and nicer in the community, and it gives spammers instructions on how to improve. I improved purely because someone said that to me.

I feel like the “Passive King” can also derive from a place of good will. To a degree. I know for me, I accidentally fall into this habit out of sportsmanship. In wait until both players are really ready to engage and sometimes even wait for us both to have a weapon. Not because I’m trying to waste time or ruin their fun, but because I want an equal duel where we can both walk away, no matter who wins, a little less salty about something.

Ok, I've seen a lot of people here going nuts about whether weapon starving is a valid strategy or a d*ck move. So what if I give y'all a good answer about it? Well... It's a POV scenario. Players that see it as a valid strategy have a POV about it. Is their POV right? In some aspects, yes. Is it right to try to force it into everyone, calling them as noobs for not using it and saying things like "get good" or "you need more skill"? No, it is not OK. Now, players that see weapon starving as a d*ck move and prefer not to do it also have a POV about it (which you can already guess what it is). Is it right that they prefer not to do it and that it can be a d*ck move at some points? In some aspects, well yes. Is it right to try to force into others this code of honor? No, it's not right. You may say that BMG sees weapon starving as a valid strategy and therefore it's not a d*ck move. But it have to remember you that this is their POV as well. You don't need to agree with their POV just because it's something they believe. Feel free to leave your POVs here, if you want to.
