Remember in Season 3 when they took Barry's memory and Barry and Irs started to kiss. His speed came out because he was excited.

Savitar mentioned the Thinker last season - "This is where we used the cerebral inhibitor to stop Devoe" Iris is Barry's "lightning rod" and it's been a running joke Barry starts vibrating upon getting excited. So when Iris touched him the first time, that primed him, like when he forgot he was the Flash in Season 3, and they started making out in their house and he started speeding for no reason. Also, considering Iris was the one to bring Barry out the Speed Force in Season 2, Barry will "always" come running back to her. Maybe that's why upon hearing "Iris is gonna die", Barry was able to break through his crazy spell. As for all the mumbo jumbo; - Barry getting framed as you stated from an alternate future timeline and ending up in prison. same scene we saw in 1x23 when Barry first utilizes the Speed Force via wormhole to save his mom. - also mentioned multiple phrases from season 1; the one that stood out the most was his two part comment "It'll change the way we think about everything" - first statement was in reference to his excitement about the Particle Accelerator in series premiere. "... from a single atom to the entire galaxy" Second part could be referencing him becoming lightning itself and turning into the very essence of the Speed Force, then erupting into space from the Particle Accelerator, also representative of the diagram he drew for Iris in 1x1 drawing human knowledge as a dot (a single atom) and a giant circle around it representing new knowledge with the Particle Accelerator (to the entire galaxy). Would explain why liquid's rising in the series premiere in his lab (just as we saw the girl's coffee rising before the Speed Force Prison opened in front of that bus) - again, it's been stated rising liquid is the presence of Tachyons' generated from a nearby Speedster. Would also explain Barry's statements that sound most crazy, - "Do you hear the stars? Stars so loud, melting, screaming..." somethin like that. As a fan, I know you know Barry himself becomes lightning and in a sense, becomes part of the Speed Force (from one of the Crisis comics). it would be because Barry's erupting from the Speed Force as Lightning into space to come back to Earth's surface to give his 1x1 self his abilities. That would be one heck of a series finale. - "we're gonna need more diapers" - his and Iris' s twins as you stated. - The decrypted message "This House is Bitchin" - Has to be Bart Allen, not sure if I remember that though, hah. I'm glad you understand this Season, Barry Allen is THE Flash. Straight from "Flash Rebirth" as you were describing, hence " I feel reborn" and 4x1 title, 'The Flash Reborn'. He's super juiced, with all that time in the Speed Force, with time relatively being possibly longer than six months for him. Homeboy shattered the containment cell. No Meta is supposed to be able to get out of there, talk less of busting it open. He didn't even try to phase out of it, he was just too fast and broke that shyt. He's reclaimed his title as "The Fastest Man Alive" - ain't no holding him back. If they water him down like they did Savitar throughout season 3, I'ma be pissed, haha.

I love yall's reaction to The Flash. You know what you are talking about. I call tell you are a true fan of The Flash and not just the show. You discuss what Barry was talking about as he is saying it, like the "needing more diapers" line. You digest the entire show. Watching others react, they don't catch things like you guys and just think it was all just gibberish. Out of all the reactors to The Flash, y'all are the best. The real deal. You also realize the show is called The Flash and it is about Barry Allen, and there can't be a show without Barry. Many folks complaining about him being back already. Screw them. Also, I'm pretty sure we are going to see the ramifications from him being in the Speed Force throughout the season and he is not as people say 'back to normal' yet. They are just trying to find things to hate on. Top notch reaction, and top notch episode. That's how you do it.

I haven't read much Flash comics, but I do know about the twins and Barry going to prison. wow I didn't even realize he was talking about events from the future/alternate timelines. I knew all the nonsense had to be SOMETHING but I totally didn't catch any of that when I watched!!

Finally I also loved this episode I believe Barry will start having visions or dreams about his time in the speed force and them breaking him out will have consequences might even actually lead to reverse flash getting out and appearing in a episode this season cause we know speedsters don't die like everybody else they go to the speed force I don't know just a thought but that could lead to him framing Barry for murder and the trail of the flash

As someone who hated season 3 this actually suprised me. It did three things I'd never thought I'd see do in the span of 40 minutes. 1.It was good unlike that shitty dumpster fire known as season 3, 2. Iris has really stepped up as a character while Barry was away, didn't cry or whine about him being gone (Unlike Supergirl) and was even against the idea of ripping him out of the speed force because she knew that their could be consequences if they got him out. 3. While it seemed like a cop-out at first that Catilin was back it seems that she is somewhat both Catlin and Killer Frost and it seems that they are finally giving her a new character arc that doesn't revolve around a new boyfriend.
