First off Danielle Panabaker killed it with directing, especially that Oliver fight scene and finally getting to see John Diggle properly say goodbye to Oliver was beautiful especially when Oliver told John he loved him. I think this will go down in a lot of people’s minds as one of the best episodes not only of the season, but maybe top 15 or top 20 best episode ever of the flash

This was easily the best episode of the season so far. Such an incredibly tight story. It managed to handle Bloodwork, Wally AND Oliver coming back and none of the three really got overshadowed in the writing. Also we now officially have a clip of Barry saying "that's a Flash fact", which I am very glad for. The last scene really choked me up. "That lightning bolt chose you, never forget that." Best callback the show ever had, tbh.

And all the other callbacks to old conversations between Oliver and Barry The reference to the "Dying is the easy part" line. The reference to elseworlds when Oliver says "Barry, Barry, Bary what have you done this time?" And the whole last conversation they have at the end of the episode which is all a reference to the very first flash episode when they talk as well like the line you mentioned but also the giving people hope and moving through your city like a guardian angel lines. They are beautiful.

Classic Arrowverse. Glad they to see they still had it in them to deliver us this episode, as well as the last 4 epic episodes. It's a shame they can't seem to break that "half season sucks, the other half is great" curse that started happening in the middle of Flash's 9 season run, but at least we get several great things towards the end of the series finale.

Agree. But in some WEIRD way , it was. Now its just timing up loose ends. But I think this should of ben the 2nd to last epicode, and the final epicode showing Baby being born, and just scene after scene of all Flash moments. And then Barry in the last 5 mins. Sitting atop a building looking over his city. Jmo, but It really was KINDA Of a finally, but now we have to watch 1 more novel by the flash. 🤷‍♂️⚡⚡⚡🍻

This was great. This is what the flash should be in its final season. Im thankful the flash writers gave proper respect to oliver. In the past, they have disrespected or thrown shade at him. I am so happy it has been confirmed that oliver is a GOD and can bring people back to life. So that means future felicity can be sent back to the real world. I wont be surprised the toxic west allen fans must be complaining so hard on this episode.

Green Arrow was never a favorite character of mine so I didn't hop on the Arrow train, But when The Flash got his own TV show I was juiced. So in this episode I was so happy to see Wally again and I'm always happy to when he returns. Wally was always my favorite version of The Flash. But over all this was a spectacular episode; From Wally to Singh to Diggle, to Bloodwork and of course Oliver.

Ahhh nooo! just got spoiled on this episode. 😢 Opened up KZfaq for something else and bam the thumbnail was there with Amell in it. The episodes don't come out until Friday on Netflix where I am. Was doing so well avoiding spoilers! I had no clue he was coming back, I try to avoid all media spoilers on casting etc. I like to be surprised in show. I've muted all my channels for spoilers but didnt think about this one, Omn1 you're usually good about not putting spoilers up front. Maybe the Netflix show thumbnail will do the same thing, guess I will find out tomorrow. But it's looking like this was a good one, so looking forward to seeing it when I can and watch the full reaction after!

@@Omn1Media it's basically like how in previous reactions you've mentioned you knew the actor was returning but didn't know which episode(s) and would've preferred Netflix didn't put their image right in the thumbnail so you could've been surprised while watching or like the Wednesday episode 7 thumbnail on Netflix. Like I do vaguely remember it being mentioned on this channel some of the people coming back (like Rosso) but I tune out at those parts. Why I mentioned I try to avoid all media spoilers (I.e I don't follow any announcements on casting, I dont look up articles/interviews etc...) I was spoiled on who the red death was too as her image was right in the thumbnail but I was behind a few episodes at that point so I accepted it as my fault for being behind. Ah well, guess I'll just have to deal :( looking forward to seeing what happens in the episode though

Big grin on my face for much of this episode because HELL YEAH STEPHEN/OLLIE ! I have missed Arrow so much! As this episode started I did worry Ollie was just gonna be some goofy fake imaginary version but then I thought phew ok maybe it's an alternate timeline version, but nah it was the true Ollie who had become Spectre, it was our Ollie back! And he's still so damn cool. Loved seeing him in action again in the suit and fighting and everything. Alongside Barry and Diggle. Loved this episode. :) Great to see Wally too. (still not sure how barry can have a 30th birthday again, his body might have rejuvenated slightly but that don't change the year he was born, right? :P But eh, whatever, Barry's done so much time travelling who is even sure what sorta time his life exists in anyway).

It was so nice to just enjoy an ep of the flash again, and not have to convince myself it isnt as bad as it is lol. Only nitpick was about having 2 Ryans existing on 1 earth after the red death arc breaks post crisis continuity (from batwoman). Also the the alegra/Chester scenes felt like screentime better spent elsewhere. Cant complain too much considering we did just have 2 filler episodes in a shortened FINAL season that technically wraps up not just the flash but the whole arrowverse so I have no idea what logic they're working with when I comes to what and who gets screen time.

The fact we went from last episode to this one is insane. This episode was easily the best episode of the season and is one of my favorites of the entire show. It sucks that the entire season could have had this level of writing, otherwise it would end as a top season. Lets just hope these last 4 episodes have this similar level of quality and this season can end on an extremely high note. I had so many emotions watching this, happy, sad, excited. It really was a near flawless episode of this show!

Now correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Wally’s punishment while he was imprisoned in the speed force to watch his mother die over and over. This makes Ramsey’s line of never having to watch another loved one die even more heart wrenching for Wally as he literally spent an eternity seeing his mom’s death.
