Honestly don't like those gaps between the screens there's much more advanced tech for those screens already which you could use it

There's no gaps as such, that's the corner of the room. ScreenX is a gimmick. Worth a look once, but that's enough.

Can someone explain how this works? Like how are they able to enlarge the shots? Do all movies film with these large ass shots and they all just crop them out on the final release?

More or less from what I’ve gathered, they use VFX to complete the other two screens. I’ve also heard the other two screens are only utilized during specific parts of the movie, such as fight scenes.

After seeing this trailer I can safely say screenx is useless, you can clearly tell that the screens on the left and right side use crappy cgi to fill in blanks to the movie that was never there. For example in the opening seconds of the trailer when Barry appears in front of the house, we know Barry used his speed to get there and come to a complete stop, but on the left side of the screen you see his legs just standing there waiting for Ezra to appear in front of the house then walk into frame. It’s idiotic.

This is a misleading representation of the experience, it’s not even half as good as this. Firstly, the picture only expands for select sequences, mostly action. Then, it’s extremely dull in terms of brightness and quality. This would have you believe it’s 2 projector screens either side….Rather, it’s poorly projected onto the walls either side on top of the emergency exit door lights….it’s WAY more warped and stretched out, and again, nowhere near as vibrant as this trailer….I saw this last night in Scotiabank Vancouver👎

What's the point in watching the movie in three different screens at the same time ?..... It is just that....the whole screen ratio....is just streched out from the middle....

It doesn't work - just distracting. I saw Doctor Strange 2 in Screen X. Total waste. There's no curvature so the image looks disproportionate. And the black lines (the space between the screens) definitely don't help.
