I loved all the dogs of the week, and the one who extended the foot was soon cute,lol. You always bring a smile to my face when you show these videos. It's funny because I know all the neighborhood dogs, but I don't know their owners. I even recognize some on the street, and the owners smile, and I tell them I know all the dogs in my neighborhood because one time they tried to take one that would walk the block every morning. The dog knew where he was going and always came back home at noon. He did this for 10 years. Dogs are so smart ❤❤😊😊

They were all blooming adorable! Of course they've been good ❤ The string of greyhounds caught my attention immediately. That's my breed. We've had most of the colours that they come in, but that beautiful brindle nearly made me cry. My soulmate, Maggie, who passed away 30 years ago come November (I think of her every day), was a silver brindle, so a little paler than the one in the video, but not much (silvers are really rare these days). And my last girl Beau (she came from the kennels with her name spelled like that) whom we lost over Easter 6 years ago, was pretty much identical to that one. Brindles are the ones with the brain cell and therefore are the ones most likely to get into trouble (e.g. Maggie ate my makeup, alongside her partner in crime Goldie, a red fawn; and Beau ate a new bar of soap not long after we got her. Twice!) I could talk about them all day, with endless stories of what they got up to. Not that the others weren't/aren't special, I'd love to be able to turn the clock back for all of them, but Mags and I were incredibly close. I still miss her. Those hounds would have been looking at the little one with the "twig" wondering what on earth it was doing, because they just don't do that sort of thing. Maybe the odd one will - our boy Buddy is the first of our 8 hounds to play with toys! - but in general their lives consist of eating, sleeping, strolling for a while, sleeping, eating, sleeping, snacking... And the majority have a "funny five minutes" when they charge around the house or garden, up and down stairs, doing circles on the spot, jumping on & off their sofa (yes, _their_ sofa 😂)... This is followed by another long nap or bedtime!

Oh I'm so happy for the Bosco throwback. His Dodo video is still one of my favourite things on the internet. I rewatch it whenever I need a boost
