Don't worry if the shirts are a bit roached. Check out "well worn" t shirts. It seems to be a thing. I would have had to get the canning jar labels. They were very nice.

Funny pick where the property taxes are high. I never thought of it that way but you are so right. the preserve jar labels-I would have bought them. When I was a kid the labels were free. My family canned tons of stuff-400 jars a year and I was Mother;s little helper. I love the labels for the memories,

The best estate sales for me are not in the affluent areas, but it the solid middle class areas...in well-established neighborhoods. The affluent areas don't have the vintage kitsch that I look for.

I loved the rock and mineral collection you purchased. I'm a rockhound I think you might want to contact some of the rock/mineral collectors here on youtube about your wanting to sell most of the pieces. They can help you for free and might even buy a lot of the collection. Just an idea! Many of them are also into Lapidary. I'll share the video with many of them and in my facebook rock groups.

BBD: My thoughts for best 3 picks (or things you might have bought) at Columbus are #1 the industrial Singer Sewing machine, #2 the Aussie aboriginal spear chucker/club and #3 the green military bag you picked up off a table (had a whistle attached to it) but made no inquiry about. The "bag" appeared to be a USMC P41 2nd pattern/roll-top knapsack. However, it is odd that it was marked "US" and coupled with unit markings "CO 4 1 3 QM". Looks to be US Army issued to Company 4 1 3 QuarterMaster. The 1 & 3 are likely the division & regiment. The Army developed somewhat similar themed packs to the USMC P41 in 1944 & 45, but this one was not one of those. You might have passed up a winner. BTW, the other, green pouch with three pockets on the table was for holding grenades...
@conitorres97743 жыл бұрын
Good deal on those doorknobs. Lots of interesting things on those tables. Loved that old Singer. Lots of nice pins and a good selection of long glass beads. You did get a great deal on them. Was the pig an actual old b piggy bank? Awesome deal on those tees. You can soak them in cool water with borax then run through a gentle wash.

Some of those shirts look mildewed from being in a dank basement. If they have an odor that would be an indication of mildew. You need to wash them carefully in mild detergent before selling them. They would look more attractive and be safer to handle or wear with that black stuff gone. Mildew refers to certain kinds of mold or fungus.
@kimsnyder7963 жыл бұрын
What happened to the Griswold pups ? And Hubley made them also. Great picking day. I'd love to come pick that market . We don't have any like that around here in North West Ohio.
