Great review. I am 59 years old and I am new to crawlers but been in rc since 1990. I have the smasher v2 and the rochobby magnum vintage. Both greatly scaled ve 0:52 hicles. FMS rules in my book! 👍😊

Been doing an EXHAUSTING amount of re-search on these little rigs and I was almost sold on the trx4m until I started seeing the reports of servos blowing out and ESC's catching on fire. Axial is cool but doesn't have the two speed tranny. Plus this also has a brass upgrade market?!? This seems to be the best bang for the buck out of all the 1/24 scale cralwers

Looks stunning and capable from reviews i have seen of them. Myself i think the red one set up as a pick up with the roll cage looks cool. But with the body on the black one wins

Hello, based on stuff I've seen they look to be the same scale, I own 3 trx4m's an bought 2 k5's because the orange looked too good to skip on too

This is a great looking little truck, and friction shocks aside, I would definitely look at that, over the TRX4M, especially given all the BS Traxxas (sic) have been up to recently!! Great video as well. Nice job. 😎👍🏻

Shocks can be oil filled, you get all the o-rings etc. when you purchase the K5. It makes a hug difference regarding body roll and bouncing…

Hi, thanks for the detailed information about this rc. I am looking to get a smaller scale crawler, and so far I like this Chevy, and the Lc80 by FMS too. My question is which is the better performer between the 2? I love the brown Chevy as it gives me Nostalgic tv show from childhood.

OT question: does anyone know what C rating a WlToys 144010 requires? I bought some Ovonic batteries (2200mAh, 3S, 25C, AIR type) and the car doesn't move forward or backward with these packs hooked up. Servo/Steering works and fan is spinning too but no deal with actually moving the car. I can only come to the conclusion that the current delivery capability is not high enough on these batteries. Does anyone know if 25C is enough for a 144010? I got the Ovonics for free in the end but still this is very disappointing if this is the case.

the trx4m offers way more flexibility. you can change the trans missions to speed med speed and crawler. has more things to go with it. but over all the price is the same. but why choose something that is less less options and same price when i can get more with the trx4m? also traxxas offers a trailer.. traxxas has a wider range of after market stuff then fms. also axial has a good list of the 1/24 and more. so two i would use.

They removed after market upgrades for the trx4m and people are really mad all though trx4m performs good people want to build it to the best but traxxas does not want that

Its officially licensed by Chevy.. Traxxas is made in Taiwan its not a 100% USA Brand.. You like a lot of people forget almost everything is made in china or close to china. What we are paying for is the brand name ;)

You’re comparing apples to oranges, seems you’re another one going woke on Traxxas, do your research and look closely what they did and why and now it has been remedied. Shock are positively horrible as are the tires with very little grip. 2 speed is real good.

I don’t care what traxxas do.. I love my xmaxx.. it’s public knowledge they have received bad feedback lately.. stating facts meanwhile there are channels who tell people they are against them in every way possible but own 10 of their models.. now that my friend is a hypocrite
