I get it. The four men Robbed the ship because they thought the loot that was offered wasn’t enough. After robbing the passengers, they burned the whole ship down. And because of that, the ghosts of the ship come when the fog rolled into town, terrorizing the descendants of the robbers.

This gave me ideas for a Titanic Story that I am writing about these two ten year old cousins who sailed on the Titanic and Survived the nightmare of the shipwreck with their own courage and witts and their broken friendship but with great cost obviously meaning their families from their parents and older siblings did not survive and the sinking of the Titanic brings the two cousins relationship more closer and helps them reconcile. And the idea is when the two cousins die as old men in a hospital decades later the ghost of everyone who died the Titanic comes to take them home and they show up the same way Blake and his people did in The Fog.

What really annoys me was years later they honour those four men who did the crime. I don't know much about my found fathers but I imagine they probably have a few skeleton's in their closets.

This is piss pour. It goes way away from the original movie!! A lot of the horror was the fact that Blake and his whole ship had leprosy!! Its not really around today because of meds but it was a horrific disease on its own! In the original Blake was wealthy and wanted to buy land a mile from Spivey point and they built a fire on the beach to wreck the ship and kill the crew because they didn't want to even get near that disease.
