With a scenario like this.. the best thing you could possibly do.. is find a hole to crawl into and hide in.. because it sounds like The Purge is for the entire United States.. even if you went out into the countryside ..to that Cabin in the Woods.. I don't think you would be safe.. for the most part a bank vault under the ground.. I know it's just a movie but it kind of makes you wonder when they were actually do it for real
