The sacred and blessed religion of Islam is based upon the principle of oneness, or unity. To truly realize and actualize this principle, the human being must progressively transcend the ego-self, and thereby awaken to the possibility of love as his or her true essence.
The great Rumi (qs) said, "Love is the bridge between you and everything." Therefore, to truly awaken and ascend to the Divine Presence of God, the human being must ultimately dissolve in the Ocean of Light and Love.
