Yes, sometimes that does happen. I was as disconnected from my emotions as one can be. Trying to act all stoic (for me) was classic ego defense strategy :)

Thank you for this video. As a yoga teacher, I have learned that there are 5 bodies or koshas or sheaths.The fifth is that of pranamayakosha comprised ofvital energy in which the breath is the vehicle. What are you thoughts?

I haven't studied Yoga so unaware of pranamayakosha. That said, the our subtle body has many layers. And the reason I LOVE the 4 body model is for its simplicity. As you know, things can get complex very quickly :)

There’s 7 bodies actually. Idk if you know about the chakras but in your auric field there is a body for each chakra root-physical,etheric sacral-emotional body solar plexus- mental body heart-astral body etheric template-throat celestial body -third eye causal body-crown chakra

@@user-gu6th3ni8b The four bodies system is different from the seven layers of the auric body. The 7 layers are in a way comprises the spiritual body. I like to think of the four body system as another model to work through through the four key system of our body. That said, if for any reason this system/ differentiation feels confusing, then please disregard it.

We don't usually experience our subtle bodies as 4 separate bodies but rather as one composite body. The real work is to work with each body/layer separately so that we can heal, embody & integrate with the other layers. Makes sense?
