can you pray 10 hours straight for 7 days without eating and survive just a glass of milk? -.-

Some people testify of going for longer with only water. It is by the grace of God that folk can fast at all :) I myself have also fasted for 7 days only on water and yes! surprised to survive :D. I know of people going by the prompting of the Spirit for 21 days only on water, also of 40 days and even 50 days. It is by the anointing of the Holy Spirit that one can pray for many hours and the time flies very quickly. All motivated by love. The more we seek Him, the more we know Him. :) It's a wonderful walk of love. Sadhu Sundar Selveraj testifies of one time that he was on a 40 day fast drinking tea with milk. Some people go on liquids and some on a Daniel fast - mostly vegetables and fruit for 21 days. There is not a clear law for fasting -one follows the guidance of Holy Spirit, the conviction of the heart. Generaly, definitely no meat and baked stuff.

Adam walked and talked with God, as did Enoch, Abraham and Moses saw God- that is even before the redemption of the cross! John the Evangelist saw God and heaven and Paul was caught up into heaven. Of course Jesus was right in everything He said- including those people on the earth at the same time as Him - none of them had seen God. However, we will see Jesus - in the flesh- when He returns and many people in our time say they have seen God or His angel messengers.

dan020350 Medically speaking, healthy people can fast and live 40 days on water alone. Without food and water people live only 3 days maximum.
