I’m 35 and he’s the greatest horse I’ve ever seen.

Best horse I have ever seen. I am an Aussie that has Winks, Black Caviar and Makybe Diva to compare him against.

I thought slip anchor reference point oh so sharp and many more from Henry Cecil were outstanding horses but FRANKEL has raised a bar that i don't think will ever be matched ill never forget the commentey in the gunnieas of disbelief in his voice when he says he's 15 lengths clear it outs a shiver down my spine

The Greatest.....no argument to be had. Had 2 shit rides and still overcome them. As much as Dancing Brave is alot people's darling.... Frankel is the greatest of our lifetime

Not one of Frankel’s complete races shown in this video......such a shame! It is the moment when his booster rocket cut in that was/is so totally amazing. I have never, ever, seen another horse like him.

I was sat at home one day watching racing and having my usual Saturday bet and I think it was having its second or third race and I remember thinking.... This horse is going to be summit special... Never thought in a million year it would turn out like it did...... Wow... What an animal.... Lost for words.... My grandad lived for horse racing but passed away 3 year before this superstar burst on to the scene... I often wonder what he would of thought of this amazing creature.........

All I will say is the horse had freakish ability and was befitting the genius that handled him. His Guineas win was extraordinary and I haven't seen a classic won in that manner before or since racing with the choke out for the whole race. American horses have a different style to those that race in Europe and he would never have faced Black Caviar because he would have had to drop to sprint distances, the horse was bred to be a champion and they did a very fine job in keeping him sound and unbeaten and targeting and more importantly winning against everything that was put before him.

Brings a tear of happiness to my eye... Frankel is priceless. We will be extremely lucky to se another like him.

So lucky to be around to see this wonderful specimen of a horse.. i can't imagine i'll ever see another like it in my lifetime. And to be trained by one if not thee greatest of all time Sir henry cecil just makes it so much more heart warming. The greatest racehorse of all time in my opinion..

I thought it was frankels pacemaker going too fast in the guineas and then realised it was the legend itself it still makes me smile when i think back to that glorious day

Horse had ability , But NO ONE TALK about the Late & Great Trainer SIR HENRY CECIL~~~ If this horse gone to train by some one else may be 14 out of 9 .

Really only one story where this horse is concerned and it's not even a long one. Frankel was blessed twice by God Almighty himself. The 1st time with the kind of freakish ability that you see maybe every 20 or 30 years, if you're lucky, in a really special horse, and blessed a 2nd time with being afforded an absolute genius trainer in the late Sir Henry Cecil. A man who'd forgotten more about training thoroughbreds than most would ever hope to learn in two lifetimes. A trainer who knew exactly what buttons to press with Frankel to harness and bring out all of that wonderful, God-given skill and ability that Frankel possessed, and he did so brilliantly on pure instinct. I think Frankel was probably destined to be a brilliant racehorse no matter who had trained him, but I think only the late, great Sir Henry Cecil could've turned him into the kind of phenomenal machine that we were fortunate enough to have gotten to see for those 3 seasons on the racetrack. That's the end of my Frankel story. Short, sweet, and to the point!

If one only learns how great a horse is when they get beaten ....then we'll never know how good he was. Secretariat was beaten 5 times. Seabird only once.So his timeform rating is possibly higher than 147.

You hear the same names thrown out in arguments about which is the greatest racehorse of all time and it's usually Frankel / Secretariat / Red Rum and so on and so forth. I only recently learned of" Zeleznik" - four time winner of the Velka Pardubicka steeplechase / Czech Grand National. Amazed so little is known in the UK about the race and its winners especially horses and jockeys whose multiple successes are incredible. Not ripping on the all time favourites or legends in any way but think if you're really going to weigh up and list the best racehorses there are some yet to be given due credit.

william allan the only horse that was rated against Frankel was Cirrus des Aigles at 135, he beat him by 1.75 lengths say 4 lb, and he was a lesser horse at 6yo, how come Frankel is at 147 ( 12 lb) 6 lengths better
