We finally got the green card. No interview, we have a child too. Submitted documents again for evidence and within two months got the green card. YAY! Good luck everyone for us it took 5 years for the green card.

That’s what they called my U.S. Passport Renewal Delay as well “Administrative Process”. Delayed my passport renewal, two officers visited my home, had to surrender fingerprints for faster resolution but the entire bullshit process took an entire year. I blame it on the online crap system for the passport renewal and they in turn blamed my photograph where I was wear some cosmetic makeup (LGBT but my photo was decent and not Drag Queen) Nothing helped, I even asked for sssistance from Congressman Brad Sherman. In the end, they released my passport renewal after exactly one year on the date of my expiration saved by the bell. Congressman Sherman told me his hands were tied to do any expedited help inside the State Department because the fraud unit was called “Administrative Process”. Anyway, everything is OK Now but next time I’ll just do the traditional mailing route.

Dear, i applied for H1b visa and my petition is returned back to USCIS as per mail received from Consulate. After Law suit, my lawyer sent me the Affirmation Notice received from USCIS and as pet the notice, my case sent back to state department. This notice states that "What the Official Notice Said This is to advise you that we have reaffirmed our previous decision on the above application or petition which the Department of State had previously returned for review. We have forwarded the case back to the Department of State for action." I sent this notice to consulate by mail but no reply. I am confused whether should i wait for the mail or i need to book appointment again with Embassy/consulate. Thanks to clarify please.

my USC spouse submitted my marriage based green card application on the 15th of september 2023, i got my biometrics on the 20th of october 2023, i got my work permit on 5th of november. i had my interview called for the 6th of march and no decison was made on the interview (i was told to be patient ) and got the paper to wait 120 days. two weeks ago, uscis officer came to my place and left with the satisfactory visit. i checked my online status which says that , my parole document is produced and that's it. my i-130 and i-1480 is still being reviewd by USCIS. as of today, its 107th day of 120th. what should i do? and what are my options after 120 days? my field office is in spokane, WAshington state.

Today was my interview IR1 just asked few questions nothing was missing in documents but still put me in Administrative process 😢

So you talked about the Fraud Unit. You talked about expected delays. You added " There is nothing you can do". In fact, there is something they can do, that is filling a Writ of Mandamus if their case is much delayed.
