I made this, adapted the pattern as I needed 70 stitches on both panels, but on the neckline I have one nice edge and one that isn't as nice.

Are there estimates on how much yarn is needed for each size? Maybe I missed them. Thanks

You finish the edge stitch with a chain, but it looks like you don't start the return pass with another chain (aka go through one loop only) and just jumped into going through 2 chains, is this correct? I'm watching other videos and seeing inconsistencies here.
