My summer holiday was every year to the south of France when I was a boy. 1980 the first time to Nice when I was 10 a ten year old boy.. It holds a special place in my heart .

As a cycle tourist I have been to some of these towns, and what really brings my experience back to me is the sound of the cicadas which can be heard in the background during some of the earlier interviews. I recall going to one particular spot on a back road near St Remy de Provence, just to hear the chorus of cigales, which were unbelievably intense at the height of their fluctuations. It has also brought to my attention artists which I now must look up.

A very interesting lecture on history combined with historical art that would never come to light for millions were it not for your videos. These are extremely well done, informative as well as the priceless art and artists you show. Thank you.

im 30 i have been dreaming about going there since i was 5 after watching a documentary about monaco. I traveled all around the world except french riviera, i ill keep this place my favorites and i will never go there!
