The next time I make this trip, I will make sure to buy as much beef as I can. Our short road trips are always filled with excitement and yummy treats. There is always an adventure around every corner and at every intersection. Meeting amazing people along the way, always takes us home with a filled cup. Even a simple red bean pelau can bring immense joy and contentment. Enjoy.

Any type of pelau is always delicious. Jamaicans call red bean red peas. That is one of their natinal dish -red beans and rice with their goat curry, It's so amazing you prepare your beans like I do. Caura is so beautiful, it reminds me of my child hood growing up in Poonah. I love paleau but never made it with red beans. My mum always said every day is a learning experience so my lesson for today is cooking in a clay pot. Plate is very mouth watering minus the red salad, can't handle it. Enjoy. Shabbat Shalom.

Hi Ellis, Thanks for clarifying the use of washing beef with mustard. Don't laugh, but I washed chicken with mustard; I will be cooking it tomorrow. God's willing and will let you know if it made a difference. Of course, I don't have the luxury of getting fresh meat here, but we'll see.
