I opened for them twice when they played my college in the 1990’s. I ran into them before they went on. “Have a good show!” I said “Well, at the very least we’ll be better than you.” The guitarist said. I tell you, I felt like I had been insulted by Don Rickles. One of my favorite moments of my 20’s!!

I knew it! I knew if I was patient enough I'd find you in the comments eventually! I still remember the day you showed this to me after taping it off some weird channel (the one before Rage TV?) that used to play stuff from Much Music, maybe 1994? Maybe I'm conflating memories. The stories you told about paying them to basically clear the room & ending up on more than one person's shit list were quintessential willyhickey stories. Of all the times in my life where I've laughed the longest & hardest, you were there for a lot if not most of them. Brother from a different mother, always. Love, your Captain Knee

I remember this being in a Smashing Pumpkins video. My first time ever seeing the Frogs. It's been all downhill from there.
