Because unlike the other "very special" episodes, that one was actually true-to-life and done well. It's too hard to make jokes about a kid literally getting beaten by his father so bad that he ends up in the hospital and then foster care.

You know, in all seriousness, this COULD HAVE been a good episode. Uncle Jesse's overreaction to DJ drinking makes sense since his sister (the girls' mother) was killed in a drunk driving accident, but they don't mention or allude to it at all and it makes me nuts thinking of what could have been LOL.

Vincent Von Dudler I have no idea why he had a problem with that, she handled it well. There was literally nothing there that was that wrong that you had to point it out on a short video especially in the recap. Saying “you hurt my feelings” during an apology isn’t bad.
