This is a re-upload because KZfaq age-restricted my last video. They sent me a message saying “KZfaq is not a shock site, and it is not okay to post distressing or vulgar videos intended to be shocking, sensational or disrespectful.” Apparently, the courser fight in the video was too shocking and vulgar for them. I removed the courser fight from the video and reuploaded it here. This version has zero blood, minimal violence, and is 99% dialogue. Thanks, everyone, for watching the last version and leaving your comments. I am sorry if your comment is now gone because of this. If you remember what you wrote, please leave another comment on this version. Also, please like and share as you did for the last video so this one doesn't suffer from a lack of social signals. Thanks again for watching all!

KZfaq (and the world at large) needs to come to terms with the fact Video Games are not real. Despite all the idiotic claims that the players wouldn't be able to distinguish reality from a game, the same demographic of tone-deaf control addicts who don't play games appear to be incapable of that same distinction. We live in an era where Arma 3 footage fooled a good chunk of the world more than once.

They are having problems now… they’re cracking down on violence. Because advertisers are cracking down on it. The more people you can appeal to, the more money you can make. Kinda like how Nintendo tries to appeal to the whole family, so do advertisers. If people are making adult content, advertisers putting ads in those videos won’t reach nearly as many people as something that’s for any age group. And if Fortnite and Minecraft aren’t proof that the real money comes from younger people, idk what is lol and parents pay for it so it needs to appeal to them too. They don’t want that much gore and violence for their kids. So basically advertisers are forcing everyone’s hand, because of greed. That’s the TLDR lol

They think fallout has to much blood and violence? They must have missed Ryse son of rome. Lots of blood and violence. I say it’s bullcrap what they think about violence in video games. While there are animal other video’s that are lot worse. There are literally video’s where you see Russian soldiers getting blown up in their tanks by Ukraine. They don’t remove those. 🤷‍♀️ but KZfaq keeps hammering us with commercials nobody cares for. Or to pay for a KZfaq account some people just don’t need or want.

The way the Coursers are talked about and feared by those who know of their existence (Virgil, The Railroad, and even Kellogg expressed both fear and admiration of the capabilities of the Coursers in his memories). The fact they were designed for one purpose, being hunters and assassins for the institute and weren't meant to blend in with the ordinary civilians. Their extremely limited ability to feel fear, or remorse or pain, and combat skills strong enough to eliminate an entire Gunner squad single handedly in pursuit of a rogue synth, also reminds me of the T-800 Terminator, especially in T1. A single-minded, objective focused cyborg operative that exceeds the abilities of almost any real human and has absolutely ZERO issue with killing anything that gets in their way. It's a shame they were so overhyped and we could take them out early on in the game fairly easily. Bethesda could have really done something with the Courser idea and made them truly terrifying in the same vein as Assaultrons, Sentry Bots, and Deathclaws, but I'm sure there's a mod out there that makes them far scarier.

Oxhorn did you know if you kill Dr. Zimmer via consul commands Dr Zimmer will have a synth component in his inventory. It could just be a mistake by the developers but it also has interesting implications if this Dr. Zimmer is truly a synth. Just imagine a 70 yr old man traveling from Boston to DC that's alot of perils for just a regular elderly man with one armed guard(that's assuming he's an undercover courser) And this isn't just a walk down the road it's hundreds of miles of radioactive wasteland. It could be a synth double created by Dr.Zimmer to make it think it's him or possibly the head of the SRB is an actual synth. In any event it's an interesting theory.

That's so interesting! I always thought coursers spoke like that because the Institute make their personalities dull in order for them not to rebel and do their duties right. But that wouldn't explain Chase or Harkness' personalities or even X6-88's when he's upset with you or idolizes you. Now I wish we could ask X6 if we have a high affinity if he's acting and when we pass a speech check he'll become all giggly and a fan boy because he's idolizing us lol.

What I like about coursers are the fact that they're basically proud, loyal and powerful soldiers that can be replaced and multiplied. I also love the way they talk. I think fallout 3 harkness and the fallout 4 soul survivor are the same prototype synth. But harkness went rogue and so they created the soul survivor prototype. A gen4 prototype more advanced than harkness. But he/she doesn’t know he/she is a synth gen 4. And the part where no written proof is found is because father deleted any (written) proof.

dayum i managed to decode their binary imprint on the back of their necks & it did in fact spell out "synth". the algorithm is simple assuming u know how to convert binary numbers into base 10. all u have to do it convert each row on the back of their necks into their corresponding decimal number, then take each decimal number and convert them into a character (can easily be done with most if not all programming languages as its just casting an int into a char) then add each char together into a string and u have the word "synth" 🤯

I dont play Fallout 4 thanks to some hardware limitations, so I get a lot of my lore fixes from people like you, so I'm bound to miss a few details of the game here and there. Of all the companions, X6 is by far the one I know the least of, I dont know if he has a personal quest, or what kind of companion perk he gives you at max affinity, if he even HAS one. Like, I know Strong more than this guy. So hearing X6 snap in his crisis scene was kind of a wake up call to me, considering that I'm so used to his monotone robotic voice in any companion compilation I've ever watched. Hearing X6 be this emotionally charged over the Sole Survivor being a bad figurehead for the Institute makes me wonder how all other companions react in their Crisis scenes. So thanks Ox, keep up the good work, you're my only gateway to all things Fallout, haha.

Interesting point. They’re too intelligent and observant to not notice discrepancies from within the Institute. They cannot say anything due to the consequences of ‘re-programing’ synths that question or rebel. But if they are already given the power to shut down other synths using their recall codes, it wouldn't be a stretch for them to eventually take over after taking down their Institute ‘masters’ and possibly other humans of the commonwealth. This is why I usually choose the BOS faction (and I freaking love their aesthetic and airship). Synths (and the concept of AI in general) going rogue is frightening, but could you imagine the damage to the human species with something like Coursers running amok? They are made to be ‘better, faster, stronger,’ than humans. Technically, the Institute in that scenario would have created not artificial servants to humans, but the next apex human sub-species in our evolution.

I never had anyone as bad as a Karen in 10 years working in a supermarket but I live in the UK so maybe I just got lucky or it's a cultural thing. Once got told I ruined a couple's evening because a cheap own brand wine in a deal they wanted wasn't in stock despite ordering stock not being my fault and the deal was popular. Apparently their idea of "an evening" was our bistro meal deal where you get a cheap own brand wine, a small premade desert and a microwave ready meal. I offered to show them similarly priced alternative wines that frankly, were probably tastier and meant they'd still spend a similar amount of money. They refused and handed their basket to me. I did not lose sleep over them. Also had an old lady call a cereal box damaged because the flaps were loose (this is common as the flaps have weak glue) but the bag holding the cereal was perfectly fine and thus perfectly safe to eat but she made it sound like a health and safety violation.

Of course, you also have very specific intonations you speak with in videos which I very much doubt you use in regular life. :D

Coursers remind me of the Royal/Shadow Guard in Star Wars. Elite Super Soldiers most of which were mildly force sensitive who spoke in their own language and had their own culture by choice. The Coursers seem to behave in a specific way by choice. Speak in a specific way by choice. All to show their loyalty to the Institute, but I don’t think it’s just Loyalty that makes them behave this way. I think it’s love for their creators. Possibly a religious reverence kept private among the Coursers. They behave more like people than they actually are meant to. Kind of in a neurodivergent way but not at the same time. Coursers have developed their own personalities and mannerisms and culture and to us and the institute it just seems like they are die hard loyal super soldiers when in reality they probably feel like they are the chosen people of their creators.

So video games is too violent, yet animal cruelty is still widely available. And if you watch even 10 videos of basic animal videos like cats playing or dogs on a brand new account, the algorithm shows plenty of animal cruelty. "How to skin and debone a cat." Being pretty popular with many distressing comments. And so much more horrible crap. Like how to say slurs in other languages and how to counter censorship on YT. KZfaq is so stupid in its policy enforcements and regulations. And their inability to even protect its own website for protecting its content creators and the content on the website. Really grinds my gears

Almost like the story of how if you put a flea in a jar and put a lid on it eventually you will be able to remove the lid and he won’t go away, now let’s say this flea has babies and the children see this behavior they will eventually learn not to jump higher than the lid and so on and so on.
