The bomb in the reactor didn’t fail. At least for Remake, Jessie’s bomb was only suppose to disable the reactor’s core. Not blow up the entire thing. Which is why Shinra took the opportunity to blow the whole thing up for their agenda.

It's "mah-ko" not "may-ko" Mako is the energy flowing from within the planet. It's also the life force of everything living on a planet. When someone is born, part of the stream is coming to the body to give it life. When someone dies, its souls goes back down to the life stream. So in a sense using mako as energy source is like getting gas at gas station, and part of that gas is you dead grandpa, grandma's souls. This is also what Aerith was doing st the beginning of FF7R. She was listening to the life stream leaking out of the pipe. Tifa wasn't kidnapped by Don. She was on a mission to infiltrate the big mansion looking for info. Cloud and Aerith just didn't think she will be safe. They decided to dress up and goes in to the manson.

Biggs is the only one alive for some reason jessie died, a plate dropping on her made sure of that and wedge got yeeted out the window of the shinra building because whispers are huge fans of die hard

Just finished the main story last night, would play the dlc but it's not available from the PlayStation Store for some reason. Loved the game and looking forward to rebirth. However, I'm still irked that Sony released remake on the PS4 with no intention of further supporting the game until the PS5. I felt as though it was taking advantage of the fan base, as the PS5 wasn't/isn't cheap but it was the only way to get the game.

Could only hear you say "may-ko" about a dozen times before I had to click off, sorry but I would prefer to hear the point of view of someone who played the game.

I hated the combat in Remake. I am so happy with the changes they've implemented in Rebirth. Remake felt like they didn't know what they were going for, Rebirth feels like a true action RPG

This recap is terrible and misses a lot of plot points. The recent one by GameSpot is much better.
