The most likely reason that the zpg actually hit him is probably because of the lag, causing the chomper's screen to get the zpg timed perfectly. This has happened to me too.

hold on, at about 1:00 he sends the projectile, and it kills the chomper, but still sends a ZPG. So, in theory, you could get a cross map zpg double kill by sending one while your in a chompers mouth and hitting some mindless peashooter in the distance

I think I figured out the zpg burrow cancel. When you’re about to be chomped you aim the zpg towards the ground and even tho it’ll go the wrong way it probably teleports to the location it was supposed to go and then blows up right next to the chopper killing them
