So good to see you both again. Those candles are great! We have an RSPB bird count in the UK every year which has been going for a long time done in January. This way they can keep a check on species numbers. It's fun to do for all the family.

Indeed! My Mum always gets involved with it. In my new house I missed it this year, but I'll participate next year. It helps with conservation. I have a lot of starlings and they are on the red list :O

Selfishly I’m glad to look forward to Wednesdays again. But I really hope everyone realizes the time and effort it takes. You make it look easy, but it’s a lot of work! I’m glad you will agree to pace yourselves and recharge as needed, without fuss or apology. Take care of yourselves, because if you do a good job with that, you will be taking care of all of us, too. Thank you very much for all you do.

I was so happy to see a new podcast this morning! I’ve missed you two so much. ❤️ Glad that you had a wonderful vacation to California and a good Christmas! Thank you so much for continuing the Sit and Knit podcast it is truly one of my favorite things in the world and I’ve told so many people about it! I’m not able to go on the knitting cruise in April but I’m thrilled they are starting up again and hope to go on one in the future. Maybe I’ll be able to join you in Italy for the knitting and garden tour. Excited about your tour to the US. Any chance that you’ll be in Minnesota? Hope so! When I heard birdsong for the first time in months last week I realized how very much I had missed it. I felt that way again watching your new podcast. I was holding my breath, with crossed fingers, for 50 minutes waiting to hear the great news about your continuing the program. Yay! You do such a wonderful thing. And hearing the dogs barking was great, too. :)

I’m only a basic knitter so the tutorials aren’t always something I’m very interested in but I love watching and hearing about what’s going on around your place and in your lives. You guys have been such a wonderful tonic during Covid restrictions. I’m thrilled to know you have plans to travel! Please, fly and be free, like the birds you admire. Know that you have given so much joy and made many people feel safe and cozy during dark times. I was worried that you might find it too much of a pressure to keep going but these “Sit and knit for a bit” are truly glorious and bring so much joy and light to everyone around the world! We’ll be happy to sit with you wherever and for fifteen or fifty minutes! I was reminiscing the other day about the lockdown daily podcasts and how much they meant for me, helping me to keep going and work at a time when the roads had no traffic at all … so peaceful to hear the birds … sending you huge hugs of gratitude!🤗

I told myself before I watched this episode to be gracious and thankful for all the sit and knits that were released. I told myself to not be selfish and to not be upset. That you have a life too! I really thought Sit and Knit was going to be over. I am so happily surprised that you both are going to keep it going as best you can. I never knew of you both until Covid and I was at home for days and days on end. You are so funny, so smart, and I have enjoyed you both immensely. Please stay safe when you do travel. I hope I am able to catch you when you come over here to the US.

Your trip sounds amazing! I have to ask: Did many people recognize you while you were in the US? I am glad you had fun and enjoyed your stay here. HOORAY! Sit and Knit for a Bit is back! Guys, I really needed this news to cheer me up. The global news is so depressing and here in New Zealand we are experiencing record numbers of omicron and reached over 1000 for the first time in the pandemic yesterday. Weekly Sit and Knit for a Bit episodes will get me through so THANK YOU! Good to hear about your travel experiences too.

I went to bed one night freezing cold, mentally and physically exhausted. To relax I thought to myself "I'll watch Arne and Carlos put the cookies in the box". Then Carlos started the matches on fire!!! I got such a big laugh out of it, I immediately felt so much better, went downstairs and made something to eat and slept soundly.

Sit and Knit a Bit from anywhere sounds absolutely wonderful. It’s one of my favorites. I always look forward to it. During my bout with Covid last summer had me down for 2 months before I slowly got back on my feet. So all your programs were especially enjoyable while sick.

Yay! So glad you are planning to continue sit and knit. I was missing you guys! Please don’t stress yourselves out by trying to film all the time. We’ll be happy with what you can manage. So fun to hear about your Christmas and New Year. I’m envious - I’m still recovering from two hip replacements so no travel for me. Take care!

You make me smile--so nice to watch you again after a while. Travel sounds wonderful--I'm Canadian and the coldest I've ever been was a winter I spent in LA. Rain and more rain and no heating and badly built houses (by Northern standards). I was freezing in my damp bed and felt very 19th Century. In weather terms, I couldn't wait to get back to Canada and get warm! Stay safe.

I'm so happy that Sit and Knit for a Bit will continue! I love learning about Norway and knitting and so many things from you both. Thank you for all the time and expense you put into making these videos. I would miss Freya and Helmer as well. Another lovely 15 minutes in this video. :)

Needless to say I am thrilled that you are resuming Sit and Knit for a Bit!! I really enjoyed today’s 15 minute episode and am looking forward to each week once again. How wonderful that you were able to travel again...and to LA! How I wish you would visit the east coast of the US as well. I would love to meet the two of you. I have been following you for quite a long time now and feel as if I am visiting with friends when I watch your podcast. Silly, I know but I am grateful for everything you have done to get our community through the pandemic. I want you to know how much I appreciate your talent and your generosity!
