That. Was. Awesome! I was initially interested in the absolute gorgeus theming of the game, but you made me love it, without even playing it. You are a master in conveying your enthousiasm and turning it into understandable, if a little oxygen deprived, pieces of information to base a feeling on. Kudos! I am going to buy this...

Such a good point about the story this game tells. Our boardgame group grew from a committed RPG campaign (5+ years), so we are always keen to narrate the stories behind our actions in-game.

I've seen like 200 hundred of your videos and I think that The Gallerist review is my favourite one. You really did this game justice by talking about it in terms of theme and I have a great understanding of how this game works now. Stellar job on this one Richard.

Astounding. This game is so gorgeous, the gameplay looks riveting, and the weight does not seem at all clunky or fiddly! Richard, thanks for this run through. The oil tanker analogy is a great, particularly since I'm new to Vital's work. My wife and I aren't Mensa candidates either... but this looks awesome for the weight and definitely accessible for us. As with other commenters, I'm sad that I missed the Kickstarter campaign. Alas! So be it! This one is on my wish list INSTANTLY. One question: you state that your prefer CO2 in terms of theme and overall gameplay--can you go into a little more detail? I would love to pick up this title and another of Vital's works, but I'm not sure which I should choose!

This is probably my favorite game in my collection. I play it so much that it's crazy. The only games I have that even come close are Village, Viticulture and The Grand Austria Hotel. At some point I'm pretty sure I will own every Lacerda game that there is. Kanban and Lisboa are next on my list.

I'm trying to remember the ship metaphor for when I have to play this in 2 days. A friend said this was waaay lighter than Lisboa so we should start with this. Then I read the rules...

So, what's the trick to living in Malta? Tough emigration policy? Land's expensive? Thought I'd recalled you saying once that the cost-of-living wasn't bad.

Looks good, but the theme just kills it for me. Could not care less about the art world. The entire art world, selling 'junk' as 'art' for ridiculous sums, is one of the most offensive things I know of, especially as a full time musician who finds his own work continuously devalued to 'zero'.
