Seriously. Such an easy call. That system was super clean. He could have sold the system alone for 100 and got the case for free. Such a fail.

Jay’s pretty lucky that it was Chris who bought it too. I can almost guarantee that it would have been sold the very next day considering how complete it was. I knew Jay’s cheapness was something of legend but this was an instance that it got the best of him and he should bit the bullet on it. I think Chris said it best: “IT’S HALF OFF!!!”

Didn't even feel like a 33 minute episode. Was also a weird inception moment as I watched the entire episode in Billy's game room. Congrats on the 50 Episodes, Pre-Congrats on the 80,000 subs you guys are about to hit. Now let's all have some f**king fun at Retropalooza this weekend.

Congrats on number 50. What an epic second half to this episode! It's a cautionary tale about the risks of waiting too long or being too cheap; more often than not, leaving an item behind too many times will eventually lead to someone buying it out from under you. In this case (as Chris pointed out in the video), I would've bought the whole thing and sold the SCD/Genesis to recoup some of the money.

Unfortunately, that’s Jay’s biggest flaw. His cheapness got the best of him and he slipped on it. Anyone other than Chris and that thing would have sold to someone else that very day

That thing was sitting there for months. If no one bought it then it wasn't worth what they were originally charging. By that logic I can make our DVD's 200 bucks each then blame the people who dont buy them as why we aren't making money.

I don't know how I managed to be in this episode but I skipped through that part once I saw myself. I see enough of that dude in the mirror. Don't need to see him here. Anyway congrats on 50 episodes. I enjoyed seeing the character of Jay fail hard this time. I look forward to what your writers will come up with for his revenge. Favourite episode of the game chasers 👍 It's got a bit of everything. Awesome Eric finding nothing, Hunter S Thompson selling the Sega Saturn, Chris catching the slip of the century (23:28) and karma coming round for Shady Jay.

This is one of the best episodes of Game Chaser seeing Jay & Chris go back and fourth over that Sega case is so entertaining! Jay wants that case so bad! To be honest I wanted Jay to wind up with the case because I know how much he played the Sega growing up so I know he has mad nostalgia for it but I wanted to see him squirm for a bit first

Terrific episode. Sad to see an amazing place like that go under. Just goes to show how important collectors are in preserving this kind of history. Hopefully when the nostalgia is gone from people who grew up with all of this, there will still be further generations interested in it.

I have to say thanks guys, I've watched every episode in the past 3 days. I recently had my nes collection stolen and it's hard to go out to find anything since I've started going blind in 2013. So I love watching you guys go out and doing what I used to love doing, it's really helped with my depression so I can't wait for the next episode.

Seeing Jay squirm for that Sega Genesis/CD case is a moment in Game Chasing history that needs to be preserved just like all these old video games because it's not very often if at all we will see it again.

On my old channel, I reviewed Chuck Norris Superkick's, thanks to emulation, and it was the 2600 version, it's pretty interesting. Might have to do a review of either the 2600 or Colecovision version in the future lol. Nice to see you guys talk about the Apple II. When I was in grade school, I think it was Kindergarten to 2nd grade, we had Apple II PC's in the computer class. Then later on it was macintosh PC's, etc. I don't know of any stores exactly like that around my area, but local game stores are here and there, and I will always support them before I support a GameStop, can't stand Gamestop anyways lol. Congrats on the 50 episode \,,/
