LOTR: Return of the King is one of the best movie licensed tie-in games along with the likes of Goldeneye. For whatever reason, the early-mid 2000’s (essentially the 6th gen with PS2, OG Xbox, Dreamcast and GameCube) was a golden era for that particular genre so to speak. * LOTR Two Towers & Return of the King * Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith * Peter Jackson’s King Kong * Spider-Man 2 * The Warriors * The Godfather * Eragon (movie sucks but the game is pretty decent) * Chronicles of Riddick * Harry Potter 1-3 * Charlie and the Chocolate factory (yes, you heard me right) * Van Helsing Just to name a few

I used to frequent that flea market when I lived in Denton. One of my friends from high school's family owned it until about 8 years ago so 5 years prior to this episode. It was a pretty good place back then but that was a long time ago.

The LOTR game is excellent. Uses the characters real voices from the films, even has bonus content when you go through it like the making of and talks with the cast about the game. Beat it as a teenager, failing to beat it as an adult 😂😂 Vanilla Ice bit at the end is cool too, half expected him to start singing "Go Ninja Go Ninja Go"! 😂😂

Yo I live in this city and can tell you that swap meet is dope in the summer. The asian pacific market is selling weird fruits and theres like a carnival going on. You can get anything there; cars, toys, video games, a gram of speed, etc.

My flea market. Got to get there early for the good games and deals. Also. Go in the summer the Colorado springs flea market is packed with vender's.

Exactly. I live up in Parker and frequently visit both the Denver and Colorado Springs flea markets. During the summer, there's some great stuff at both of them. But a lot of collectors comb through the place the second it opens, so you have to get there early if you want to find some good stuff.

This was a good episode that probably could have been split into two. It's an unbelievably tough time right now if you hunt retro games. It was already a wasteland and now add a pandemic. There was only a fraction of garage sales this season. Online market places are like gladiator pits when a decent lot pops up. I never though the retro game hunting could get more difficult than it had been the past few years but it did. It really sucks but am thankful for the collection I've been able to amass prior to all the retro craziness and now this pandemic.
