As someone who used to play this game competitively, I'm surprised you didn't say anything about how dedicated some players are to this game. Although there's no clan system in the game, players made their own clans through Discord and a ton of servers have been made. Some of the clans were shown in the video, such as DF (Duel Fiends) and XPR. Honestly, the clans are it's own rabbit hole from the game, I'd know, I'm a clan leader myself

I've been playing this game for a few months and it's fun. Tried to play ranked ,which was dead everytime I tried, and the grind is a bit rough after a bit, but other than that it's a pretty damn fun game.

A friend let me know about this game, it was pretty cool, my main issue was that sometimes the games would take more than a minute or two to load but then i was interested in the little lore pieces the loading screens would give you. I really recommend it

When i initially tried this game i hated how hard it was to unlock characters too. But now that its fixed and we can even buy them with normal credits the game is so worth playing and i would urge everyone to give it a try. Also don't be fooled, the steam version runs real nicely

i remember playing this games years ago, i love this. it feels similar like Lost Saga or Smash Bros, and this games definitely good. while years ago this game has issued like frame rate or bug issues, the games thankfully has been fixed and i will to play again

I’ve played this game since the season where Flare was introduced. I really do like the gameplay style and even prefer it over Brawl Stars. I love the characters and the lore of the game’s world too. Really hope this game can go even higher in the future someday

It's way better now, but it'll need a new wave of players or make their older players come back. The game is very fun, just needs more people to play it. It's only downside right now are the abilities lootboxes but they're not game changers, just very useful.

Im happy that you bring this game yo the channel, i played it when they released It (1 year ago) and i never stopped supporting the game even when they changed their services from LINE games to 5minlab and reworked the system, but is honestly sad that most of the matches are with bots because they are a few players playing the game up to this day.

Hia! long time player here with over 1k hours on the game, sadly I have to say PLEASE stay away from this game. The developers have made some horrible changes recently and the community absolutely hates it, they have been doing nothing but driving away long term players recently. Ever since 5minlabs took full control over the game we now have zero communication with the devs and are really left in the dark as to what they're working on. The most recent updates have been nothing but them adding COMPLETELY PAY 2 WIN features. And when I say pay to win I REALLY mean it, plus its super expensive. They have added new "perks" that you can add to your legend called "enchantments". You CANNOT earn these in anyway shape or form as a free to play player, and guess what? There in loot boxes..... These enchants are absolutely game breaking and majority of players want them removed. We all complained for days in their public discord about it and 5Minlabs stayed silent as always. Instead of removing what we all hate they added more and more broken enchants and plan on adding more. These abilities are so strong they can seriously ONE HIT YOU, Increase your overall damage by 15% and increase your health by 15%..... I wouldn't really care if it was cheep and I could pick what enchants I wanted to get, but there in RANDOM loot boxes that cost $40 PER BOX!!!!! Let me state why this is scummy ^ : They recently stated in their public discord that they were really struggling with money. So instead of releasing new features to the game, new skins, better battle pass or anything of the sort. They add a feature where if you don't pay you are now at a major disadvantage to everyone else. The game no longer requires skill to play and is pretty much based off of who plays the most OP legends and who has spent the most money on the game. Again, WE DONT WANT THESE ENCHANTS IN THE GAME. The company is struggling really bad with money, so this is how they are pretty much forcing people to spend money on their game. If you don't spend money on the game now you will not be able to keep up with the ones that do. So to sum everything up : This game used to be really fun and skill based, now It is a pay to win game that is impossible to get into as a new player now as the p2w players will stomp on you. Do not support this company, they have destroyed what amazing game this used to be. I cri.

In my opinion as a Brawl Stars player, the game feels great and different enough to call it as it's own game instead of a clone. Though I only played it less than a week due to having an inferior phone and of course lag issues. But it doesn't stop it from being a bad game, the gameplay is fast paced and fun to play, hopefully I may return back with my newer phone and wait for it to see its problems be resolved. A 4.2/5 game

I didn't expect Smash Legends to be mentioned here. Played it when it's new, it's a fun game. Haven't been playing anymore, but i still would like to jump back in sometimes, since i still watched random matches of the game to see how it evolved. Also, this reminded me that they ditched Dominion as the main gamemode and used the new one instead.

I not really a gamer, I like how this games can finish so quickly, I play at least 1 hour or 30 minute daily and then coutinue do my job. Really base on your skill and read enemy movement, you can do combo atk to.

I played back when the game released and dropped it after a while due to the extremely predatory practices with its monetization. I'm trying it again now years later and it feels much better, being able to just play the character you want to play is much much better.

Rly fun game pretty underrated in my opinion, the servers are definitely better than what stated in this video though. If people wonders if it's worth the try then i'll recommend to not hesitate to hop on the game! nice video by the way!

While it's not entirely false, there are some weird and just false things there. For example, Deeznut published this video not because of ping but because he had a bad device, causing lag. It was literally a troll video... But okay. Otherwise, this game always had a revenue issues since the start and they sadly failed to fix it, bringing more and more issues, yep, sad it's like that :/ But eh, still hoping! :)

The game is great now. It’s even easier to get characters now as they practically just give them away now. Though with how generous they are being, it makes me think the game doesn’t have much time left… This game is very different from Brawl Stars. The UI has been changed to be a bit more original and different from Brawl Stars. I don’t think the game will come back and be as big as it was, but hey it’s happening to Brawl Stars, and another game I like, Omega Strikers, is seeing a small revival, so it could happen.

as someone who played this game since flare adition i loooove the game, but a lot of bad decisions were made along the way that greatly inpacted the game and the playerbase. i am currently happy to where its going but i also miss some stuff that were changed or removed. By the most part the devs actually listen to the comunity and reverted some pretty big bad changes, but its still weird they happened in the first place

I am a old Smash Legends player. I have been playing it since two years ago. I have experienced Smash Legends v1 and I can say that is pretty terrible. Smash Legends v1 is a heavy p2w game. Players need to spend money and time opening boxes and joining battles in order to gain character ‘fragments’ and new characters. Thanks to Line Games, Smash Legends v2 feels like a completely new game for me. It gives a lot of benefits to old players and I really have fun with it. But still, the biggest problem of Smash Legends is server lag. This problem has improved a little bit since Smash Legends v1, but I am still experiencing it sometimes. Smash Legends is indeed a underrated game and I don’t understand why it isn’t popular right now. I hope more people can know more about Smash Legends through this great video, and more and more people would be able to try it out. Signing off, peace!

I just uninstalled it like.. 10mins ago after playing for 1yr+. I don't grind as much anymore and the enchantment stone or wtv they recently added just adds wayy too much damage it feels so bad to play against players who have them. Edit: I'm back to playing! They're pretty generous with the free stuff now. You can level up legends pretty easily and playing against players with enchantment stones don't feel bad anymore.

As someone who has played brawl stars for years and played smash legends at launch, they definitely have tons of notable differences. Just in the map design and movement alone you can already feel the difference. I loved smash legends when it first came out but eventually had to drop it due to server issues. Hopefully, they fix it in the future as it's a game I would love to have on my playlist again. 🙏

I have played brawl stars a hell lot and have gotten pretty good at it. At first glance, if you don't play the game at all It'd seem like a brawl stars clone. Maybe the UI is and the loots are very similar to how supercell would do it, however as for gameplay it's different by a mile. Smash legends is more akin to a platform fighting game than top down shooter like brawl stars and stick arena. The mechanics in Smash arena is quite technical and relies mostly on platforming movements and fighting game footsies. There's frame data, whiff punishing, hitstun, and even frame traps.

My favorite thing about this game is the characters. I’m a sucker for distinct and cool designs. Because I want to do character designs in the future

As a player in the middle east, the ping is suspiciously amazing, which I am not used to in most of the games.

Last year I was one of the most active community members for this game. I made the top post of all time on the subreddit and was always on the server. I really loved the game, so much so that it was the first game I've ever gotten top 1 local on, but the absolute bs that were the character drop rates made the game 10x harder for me, as I was one of the most unlucky guys I had seen (never got a character above super rare), and the terrible balance updates didn't help either and so I quit. 1 year later I always have the urge to reinstall the game as I loved it so much, but now I don't even have the time to grind as I did back then so i haven't, but you never know right

I love Smash Legends, it has been one of the few games that I earnestly keep on playing because how interesting it really is. I used to play Brawl Stars but I stopped since I reached my limit on the game where I feel all im doing is just grinding which sucks, so when I went to try out Smash Legends I felt the excitement I once had when I played Brawl Stars and now I have close friends to play it as well. I just wish Smash Legends get the support it needs to reach its potential since currently it is pretty good but a few problems are present in the game.

Ive been playing it for a few months with my friends and it jeeps us hooked. Keep it going with the updates and maybe nerf some new characters.

As a brawl stars player that has played Smash Legends for a bit, no Smash Legends doesnt seem like a brawl stars clone. Smash Legends while may take some inspiration it's clearly have its twist like jumping manually aswell the non gacha system. Personally I prefer Smash Legends gameplay but the server issues really hurts, Im just hoping that it can be fixed more and more. Still tho an underrated game Also a great video there Akshon :D

what a great review i love smash legends alot and ive been a fan of the game since the end of 202,1after quiting for a few months and then coming back some months later i was confused with some of the changes but i gradually fell in love with it, i actually plan on streaming this game on twitch but could cuz of life and stuff still one of the best 3v3 game ive played 10/10!

I mean if you look at smash legend menu and hero selection, it does look exactly like brawl star, but the fun part about smash legends is their gameplay definitely and now we are able to buy hero with golds instead of gacha through boxes, which is a huge step imo.

I got to unlock Ranked, hoping it would be an improved version of 1v1 or 2v2 Deathmatch, only to find out it was a 3v3 Capture the Base mode. I spent so much time waiting for people to queue, it killed my interest in continuing playing. Also, the 1v1 mode is FULL of bots. You can tell because they never jump or play neutral, meaning they get demolished by ranged units. Sad to see the game struggle, since it has a fantastic artstyle, great character designs and solid mechanics.

As a smash legends fan who's pretty active I can say while it is true that it's struggling, the game is slowly healing, the servers are still an issue but usually a vpn can fix that problem, it'll be a long time before this game can properly be seen as an equal for brawl stars, but I have hope, this game is going places and you can mark my words

I love the concept of taking tales and turning their characters into fighters. It’s very refreshing and even though you can clearly see the inspiration of both Brawl Stars and Smash Bros, it’s a very good mix of both world and a fun game to enjoy. If like me you love fairytales and discovering or rediscovering stories from your childhood, this is a fun way to do so

I think one of the worst points in this game is that the matchmaking just doesn't work its level 4 vs level 15 most of the times

Something I would like to bring to light is the incredible toxicity of the community involved with this game. There have been multiple controversies surrounding the top "clans" in the game, largely due to their tendency to pick fights, lie and overall contribute to a negative gaming experience. There have even been issues with alleged pedophilia, and that was a very large scandal involving prominent figures in the community. Gameplay wise, the game lacks depth, but can be incredibly fun to play casually, especially with friends. If you play, I recommend to keep it that way

5:24 this is a Humongus difference I love, since characters become people's favorites, so they want not any, just a specific character, which leads to them working for it. I prefer this system over Brawlstars still Mediocre Lootboxes, that are locked behind a Battlepass. I wanted Edgar out the Rest of the brawlers, but unless I could be extremenly lucky no matter how hard I try I will feel like I'm working instead of Playing the game, as the thing Isn't even guaranteed, just a chance and I hate that it ruins the love for these guenenly intersting characters and leaves them up to slot machienes. Smash Legends Made an amazing marketing decision, that keeps player enjoying the game to play their favorite legend. Thoughh still some characters have gameplay issues of being un-engaging to challange, not much built up i story, or missing something, Brawlstars has all these issues aswell. just overall being able to pay for access for a character is an Amazing change I wish brawlstars would move too instead of trying to suck people's Pennies.

Beside the battle royale mode I have not seen the similarities with brawl stars, also they have really interesting character's lore even have comic about them

It's funny, I've been playing this game for a while now and I have barely touched any of the 3v3 modes. I just kept playing 1v1 over and over.

I’ve started playing this game very recently. It’s been fun.

it's actually super fun. I enjoy it, but level matchmaking is pretty bad so I can see that being a major criticism of it later.

What's worse that a 1v1 game you HAVE to play a defensive hit and run and one hit or one combo it all it takes for you to just play campy and then win via time outs or by someone carelessey rushing in

even with all the issues with the game itself, and all the negativity that brings to the community (including me), i feel like this game is still amazing at its core. I totally fell in love with the gameplay and the characters, and I really hope this game gets the real boom it needs to become something truly great.

The only time I had server issues, is when I was using too many Bluetooth connections while on wifi, oddly enough. But other than that, plays great!

I have played for almost a year!, its really cool! and very competitive

I do think this game is awesome. Although it has some problems, it's pretty much very good in every aspect right now, the gameplay is very unique, and it's always very fun to play. The balancing still needs some reconsideration, and servers are still kinda bad sometimes, but it's overall very good. I do wish ranked could be played in teams of friends and they work on improving some hitboxes, but it's a game that a love and I think it's heading the right way.

I tried it on tap tap and I can say this game was super fun while I was playing it. 2v2 feels fun and the game modes are interactive but have some minor flaws unless youre a speedy player who acts quickly. All n All good game after the overhauled content and store update. Worth trying, the servers aren't as bad as they used to be
