Idk if I interpreted your comment right, but Jann is still alive to this day. Two spectators died I think instead of 1 spectator and the driver. He fixed da mistake.

As many said, it was a spectator who didn’t make it at Nürburgring on the Nordschleife/GP-Strecke course at the Flugplatz section. Also the crash happened in 2015, but got on the podium at 24hrs of Le Mans several years before in real life. The film though wanted to have the crash as a downfall and brining Jann to redeem himself at Le Mans which stirred up some controversy.

The problem is that this is false. While yes the crash was real, he got out on his own, unlike in the movie, where he's unconscious. The other things they got wrong in the movie were as flows: He was not the first GT academy driver The car that he took to le mans had so many problems they never reached top 10 hungaroring is used for almost every track, such as Silverstone and le mans. And i understand the reason for some of the changes, like the rival team capa. The movie needs a villain. Also they have to make it interesting for non racing people. However, they could have done better at being more faithful to the real-life aspects of the racing world.

In the movie he was supposed to play Gran Turismo 6 because the story took place before the Gran Turismo Sport and 7 came out. But Polphony changed the timeline not because for a dramatic story but to show Gran Turismo 7 more like a commercial
