In this video, I fly my drone up and get an aerial view of feeding the gar. They devoured the shad and love their new pond. Thanks for watching!!

It gives you an appreciation for how intricate and balanced natural systems are when you try to create one from scratch. It gives me pause to consider how beautiful the natural world is.

Let’s get an update on the vegetation, what else are you going to add around the pond? More green!!!

Good question. It's still early in the pond construction. If I know him, he's already got it planned out. I'm thinking, keep it simple. Some lillie pads, some reeds or cat tails. Or some lotus?
@jic13 жыл бұрын
@@scrapironfish He's already planted bulrushes and lily pads, although maybe he's planning to add more?
@PeppoMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@scrapironfish he needs more littoral (the slopibg region at the edge) plants that are local to his area. If that is bullrushes, then definitely, but some diversity is good there and all will greatly improve water quality. He kinda made it difficult for himself not planning for a strong vegetative ecosystem, but focussing on the animal mostly.
