Carla, new subscriber from the West Coast North Island. I enjoyed the little wander through your garden. The salvia will survive a serious haircut. Your photography would benefit from moving your camera slower, its a little dizzying to watch. Your soil looks pretty healthy, and lush.

Seems strange for us in UK to see you have citrus 🍊 trees in fruit in winter wouldn’t stand a chance to fruit in a uk summer🤣😂 Have good month see you July 💕

Haha yep winter is our season for citrus. And we have a lot in our area. It’s too cold down south though

Your garden in winter is SO DIFFERENT than mine. 😂. You mentioned frost, how often do you get frost? If I remember you have said previously that it only snows at higher elevations, so I guess I’m just wondering how cold is *your* cold? I look forward to seeing your new beauties grow…and Evan’s mystery plant too! 😉

Haha sorry I missed this 🤦🏻‍♀️. Well I think it freezes at 0 which is Celsius (no idea on conversion) but where we live a really cold ‘day’ might be 8 or 9 degrees as a high? Our place will pretty much frost every morning in July to august if the night is clear with no cloud.

@@PlumTreeCottageGardening-vf3oj yes, freezing at 0°C is our 32° F. So your high of 8°-9° is our 46°-48° F…and we’d be out in short sleeves, probably with the windows down in our cars! LOL! 😆

No way!!! Hahaha it’s amazing what you get used to. We have a couple of teachers at work that have come from Fiji and they are currently freezing! 🥶
