This video is from the DVD "TRAINS in New Brunswick & Gaspé Volume 1 - Matapédia to Moncton".
We follow the VIA Rail Gaspé train, starting at Matapedia, Quebec where it leaves the main line to travel up the Gaspé peninsula. Locations visited include Pointe a la Croix, Caplan, New Richmond, Bonaventure, New Carlisle, Anse-aux-Gascons, Douglas and Gaspe. Onboard footage is also included at several locations, including a trip through the only tunnel on the line at Port Daniel.
This video was uploaded by Steve Boyko after David's death, on the request of David's widow Pat. She wants to share David's work with everyone. Apologies for any errors or omissions in the captions.
This video was recorded using a camcorder on VHS videotape and then digitized, so the quality is not as good as David's later work.
