It’s insane how invested you become into the peoples lives that you watch on KZfaq. I loved watching videos with Fred. He inspired me so much. I fought tears this whole video. I’m so glad his animals are going to great places like the Kamp, and people like Kenan can carry on his spirit for many more years! Thanks Kenan.

Is it possible to be sad and happy at the same time? Because that's how I feel. Sad we lost a legend but happy these animals are going somewhere they will actually be cared for and live a decent life. I've gone back and watched a few older videos just to hear Fred's voice and man got a little choked up.

I must say that even though this event was bittersweet for Fred’s family, I know Fred was watching with that wonderful smile of his on his face! All in all good job. I have worked with all species of crocodilians (24) for many years. I have to say that if you use a crate and simply pull the gator in to the crate, you dont have to restrain it at all. And you can also very easily slide it in to the water when releasing it. It will reduce the stress of the animals a whole lot. And use wet towels in stead, it will stay on the eyes/head much better.

It really lifted my spirits to see so many self-sacrificing, concerned animal people all in the same place at the same time. From what I can see as a viewer I truly believe that Fred would be over the moon happy with the enclosure that you built for them and knowing that you are always going to take care of them, and the amount of care that you are going to give them. Obviously he left them to you for a reason. And I see no reason why his family and granddaughter aren’t just as proud as he would be right now. Thoughts go out to you and Fred’s family and those gators alike on such an emotional journey!

I am so emotional its hard to even watch this for all the tears! Its blows my mind to think I am so emotional over a man and their animals! Fred is smiling down from heaven so big Kenan! I feel so honored to get to see these animals go to your house and live just as good a life as they did with Fred! To know they r going to be ok and that Fred doesn't have to worry about them! Lord do u know how hard it is to type and wipe tears away at the same time? I'm boohooing over here because I am just so happy for these animals! What beautiful alligators, in excellent condition. I never knew they growl, and roar like a Lion. The show stick that John was explaining, is the same as a bull hook that elephant trainers used. I found it very interesting about the island in a pond and visual barriers to break up the line of sight, it works for pheasants too. My condolences to Fred's family.

@@sdqsdq6274 Pretty sure John mentioned either filing or sanding it down, for some reason. I have no idea how tough an alligator hide is, but it must be durable considering they have been using the leather for centuries.

Very emotional, cried and still miss Fred and hope to see his animals do as good as Fred would have wanted. His family are a special unit and my heart goes out to them all with their loss. Take care all of you and remember we loved Fred and he is still in our hearts and thoughts.

To see these animals finally making it into those ponds have got to feel so good. Fred is watching from above so proud of his family and friends. You guys are truly exceptional. This is such a great way to keep Fred’s legacy alive and thriving.

That was an emotional video. Anyone who has followed you for a while knows how much you loved Fred. Its good to see his legacy living on with hos family and you his extended family. Heres to many more years for snaggle tooth and dale. They are in the best hands.

Amazing how those alligators that have decades of human contact still resent being handled and moved and act just like wild ones. Now they are fortunate that they have a brand-new life and an amazing place to live. The community support is also surprisingly strong. I didn’t expect so many people to gather for the event.

What an incredible honor for you, Kenan. For a family to trust you with Fred's animals, that says something about you and your actions - not words - that have defined you over the 20+ years. If ai knew nothing else about you, THAT is enough to tell me what a good man you are. Your enclosure, while simple, looks amazing. I look forward to seeing more on these two beauties moving forward.

Brooke and family, know in your hearts that Fred is pleased with what you're doing and proud of how you're all holding up. He smiles down on you every day and his love is with you every moment. Every single time Kenan shared Fred with us, he moved with strength of purpose and energy, proud of his efforts, delighted to share all he loved so much. We should all take inspiration from that, and as Kenan said, "Be more like Fred." Kenan, thank you for walking that same path as Fred and for doing him proud. His friends will prosper in your care, and his joy will be infinitely multiplied in the sharing. God bless you all.

Hi Kenan What an emotional day. Thank you for introducing Fred to. everyone who follows you. He was an amazing man. A true legend to have cared, and loved all of his reptiles. He would be so happy for you to take care of them. I used to get excited, when you would visit Fred, and get to know him through you. God Bless the Grunwald family for making this day so special. I liked Brooke's shirt. Be More Like Fred. He will be looking down at you, and smiling, knowing that you will be taking such good care for his gators. What a day, so many people who knew Fred, were so happy to help make the gators move to Kenan's special place for them.🐊♥️ Cindy
