It’s a beautiful song with a deep meaning.. As always are the songs of The Gazette .. I can't understand what's the matter with people who proclaim “IS NOT ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA”, “STOP SAYING THAT IS ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA” What anger them so much?!….If The Gazette made this song inspired on her history, partially, or if they didn't, we really don't know. And it doesn't really matter. If people want to dedicate her this song.. What's the problem with that?!! It's a good way to kept alive her memory and the lyrics couldn't describe better the feelings of a person who went through unbearable pain and desperation as Junko did. I still dedicate to her. Rest in peace💜
@tiffaniecross22093 жыл бұрын
I will never understand the people who refuse to believe this ISN’T a tribute to her suffering and pain. Even before I saw this video or read the translation of the lyrics on Jpopasia, this song made me cry (and still does) because I could feel the pain! Whether it actually was a tribute to Furuta Junko , or ANY OTHER WOMAN WHO WAS RAPED, TORTURED &MURDERED.., this is still powerful and respectful of the victims pain.
@apd.932 жыл бұрын
I agree, they never confirmed it and Junko's horrible story is one of the many cases of women tortured and murdered in the world but I think of her when I listen to this song in both versions. In the japanese version it says "冬尽く春を思う" wich means "I think of spring when winter it's exhausting", Junko was kidnapped in november and died in the middle of winter so in a way the lyrics remind me of this case even if it's not about her specifically
@sorrowharlequin9788 Жыл бұрын
Thing is we'll never really know and people can chose to dedicate this song to whoever has gone through this whether they be male or female at the end of the day it covers all people who have unfortunately been tortured raped and murdered. I think it may be loosely based on Junko but that's just theory everyone each to their own.

"Please tell me it is a horrible dream. I want to smile again at last" That line really ends the song on a devastating note. Try to imagine a time where you cannot bring yourself to smile. I cant imagine that, its amazing that Ruki managed to write this song from her point of view, showing the intense fear, pain and suffering without mentioning the actual events. R.I.P Junko Furuta.

The song is not about Junko Furuta Quote taken from Toornap Tarraa: "Ruki never said Taion is about Junko Furuta. This is something the fans decided by themselves. In the Japanese fandom, it is mostly considered a prevalent theory, but a theory nonetheless; however, in the western fandom it seems to be considered fact, which it is not. Ruki only confirmed that the song takes up the motif of a gruesome incident from the past. It was something he and Reita saw online, and which really overwhelmed them. But the song is not even entirely about that incident, whichever incident it is. It’s about the feeling of not being able to escape from something, which was something Ruki had wanted to write about since a long time ago." Source: NEO GENESIS SPRING 2006

I've listened to this song many times, never realizing it was about a murder. I read about the case and I am in tears. To die such a horrible death is imaginable and no one should ever experience that. Junko was a beautiful girl who could of lived a full life, but was instead given this degrading and disgusting way to live for 44 days. My prayers are with her family, even after 22 years. The song has brought awareness to this case. I hope that where ever she is right now, she is resting in peac

A wintry sky and the broken street light, cold wind. Unknown shadow the footprint of desertion. Freedom was taken. If it wakes up, a gloomy ceiling. A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum, it is soiled. And violence rapes me. An understanding is impossible. Why was I chosen? Someone should answer... I wish you'll somehow answer me, that it's all a horrible dream. To what extent should I shout, writhe and suffer till it's alright? Please, I wish you'll tell me it's all a horrible dream. With voice that seemed broken, I cried out over and over again. There is no hand preparing the disordered hair. A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum, a faint temperature is mixed in the midwinter. Suppressing my voice and ordering my withered self to live on, To not lose sight of the living. Suppressing my voice, I'll remember the trembling night in pain Forgive my uninterrupted breath... I wish you'll somehow answer me, that it's all a horrible dream. To what extent should I shout, writhe and suffer till it's alright? Please, I wish you'll tell me it's all a horrible dream. In the end, I just want to laugh once more.

I love how the gazettE manages to make so many awesome and interesting instrumentals for all their tracks. Taion intro sounds super scary and gives a little bit of discomfort but the chorus changes the key of the song and makes it so sad. I have a thing called synesthesia which makes me see colors on music and here I always manage to see this transition between intro and chorus like a blue going to green. It's pretty crazy haha so the conclusion is: the gazettE is an amazing band and I think we should also talk about the stunning composition they have

hello fellow sixth guns i would like to inform you of a thing: RUKI NEVER SAID THIS SONG IS ABOUT FURUTA JUNKO. the main inspiration for this song was from an article Ruki and Reita read of a murder kinda(??) similar to Junko's but probably not nearly as horrifying because there wasn't even a name. Junko's story could be part of it, which was originally a fan speculation but overseas fans see this as a fact. It has nothing to do with Ruki either...

They've been playing for 10 years. Of course they won't be the same, what did you expect? As artists they have grown a lot since they first began playing. And actually this change, this growth makes their songs different so each song stays unique. I listen to all kinds of music and I listen to a lot of bands but the GazettE's songs are and will always be one level above everything else I've ever heard. They have grown and you can't blame them. Accept it!

You guys realize that the song isn't confirmed to be about Junko Furuta. It is just a theory.

Cool theory (sorry. Я плохо знаю английский)

Just the thought of thinking what happened to Junko just gives me the chills. There are just some human beings in this world that are rotten. thE GazettE are truly amazing for paying tribute to this girl and thats what I love about them. They aren't like other trashy artists of this generation who have no meaning in their songs. LOVE YOU GAZETTE!!!♥♥♥♥

taion the music was done by the band THE GAZETTE telling the story of a Japanese girl who was kidnapped (by 4 smaller yakuza mafia), which held for 44 days in captivity...The girl's name was Junko Furuta.. It is estimated that it was 400 times rape,was beaten, his face was thrown against the concrete, fastened on the roof and used her as a punching bag, was forced to undress and to maturbar in front of the boys, stuck needles in her breasts,she was forced to pull her nipples with pliers, stuck bottles, scissors and other things in her vagina, she was bleeding and hurt when urinating,every day she asked to die, she was forced to call and talk to parents who ran away from home and was well in the house of a friend ... they hide the body in 55 gallons drums and dumped him in Koto, Tokyo..when her mother knew she was the loony bin, Junko wanted to get rid of and do well, but unfortunately could not.. :(

Gazette NEVER said its about Junko Furuta. They only said its about a crime that happenend so they couldnt be more vague. Maybe its just straight up made up. Sorry but this is just fans getting crazy ideas. It is just an essential part of Visual Kei to sing about this kind of stuff but there is no deeper meaning to it. Why should you listen to me? Cause I am a Gazette fan who has lived many years of his life in japan and participated more debattes on this topic than you can imagine on japanese forums. There is yet to be any believable evidence.
