@@AlinaAniretake Wow... that's your take away?! It's not a funny art piece. It literally IS his legacy. And any estate that is so restrictive of a person's work and talent being shared post their death is an estate that needs to check it's own priorities and values. Robin Williams improving the geenie for 30 hours is literally his legacy. You'd think they'd want that shared. And rather than making it as onerous as possible that they would be very willing to work out a deal that is good for both and not a pain in the asshole. Pretty sure Robin himself would love the idea. It's no different than MLK Jr's estate sending take down notices to anyone posting his I Have a Dream speech for decades. Literal and actual history that they kept behind extremely strictly litigated gates. Exactly what MLK wouldn't want. Often, estates aren't there to protect the legacy, but to make as much money and horde content the original person would have wanted shared. That said, I was being silly, as any reasonable person should have understood.

Even after all the crap disney put him through, Robin Williams did above and beyond with the Genie. He's a wonderful impressionist Edit: idk why I'm getting comments about baiting or phishing for engagement. Disney did mistreat Robin. Robin Williams was signed on to Fern Gully first then Aladdin, Disney didn't like this as they wanted to really sell him as the Genie. Talk about true dedication to the Genie character with outrageous amounts of improvisations! Rest in Piece to Robin Williams for bringing the Genie back to life and thanks to Eric Goldberg for animating him. Plus, all these improvisations can hold up an entire movie or series themselves.

Robin Williams and George Carlin - the whole world lost so much when they passed. I've always felt that we need comedians to keep us mentally & emotionally healthy. Both of them had a talent for holding up a mirror to U.S. culture, reflecting the best & worst of who we are in a way that allowed us to laugh at ourselves & each other in a healthy way. They reminded us that no individual or group gets everything right, or everything wrong; we're all flawed, & that's OK. They exposed lies & showed us that life is really, really funny if we change our perspective just a little bit. There's no need for all the hate, the violence, the constant fighting about everything. Honor them by remembering the things they tried to teach us.
