Nevšímal jsem si toho, že v televizi teď říkají "do Ukrajiny" místo "Na Ukrajinu". Je to opravdu zajímvý příklad toho, jak jazyky odráží skutečnost, ve které jsme se nacházíme. I believe that using different cases for situation where you have 1 or 2,3,4 or 5+ of something is common in most Slavic languages. It's most likely something that came from Proto-Slavic that made sense back than, but we don't quite understand any more.

Řekl bych, že genitiv u počítání má spíš jakýsi mentální důvod / předobraz. 1 pivo = to zvládnu 2 -4 piva = je toho víc, ale pořád to zvládnu 5 piv = to už nezvládnu, to už je moc. To samé s rohlíky, s čímkoliv.
