Since the MORE & MORE album, I started realising I’m listening to a all-rounded Kpop group, they can do every genre of music, from the cutest to the most girl crush concept. TWICE has debut for 9 years in 2024, but they are still growing and making more good music to public 🥹 Stan TWICE for life

No, i think it started with Fancy You EP (2019). Before FY their music is kinda "as expected". Their first two EPs have their own color but they've been used the same formula since TT until Yes or Yes. It was really Fancy You that change everything and their sound only gets more and more diverse after that.
@hy_yap59303 ай бұрын
@@gizibaikk Agree! But the song that really amazed me is Firework, when I first listen, I was like “seriously? TWICE singing Latin pop genre song”. And ya, their b-sides had total different genre and vibe since 2019
@bruno166253 ай бұрын
that's the point and I can add, as a person who stans Twice since TT, that they started changing first their color pallete in Yes or Yes, from colorful to darker brightness tones. After that, it came to light what you pointed about song genres in Fancy You, then we've got Happy Happy as farewell to the colorful tones and smiles in the performances and a presenting to a "new Twice" more mature and powerful in Breakthrough (6:20). Since then, they were never the same again. They lately came back making happy elegant songs @@gizibaikk

This. For me EWO is their peak and easily their best album EVER, and maybe one of the best albums in the whole kpop history. Okay maybe i'm exaggerating because i only listening to TWICE in kpop but in general i listen to so many genres of music: rock, pop, jazz, mainstream metal, extreme metal, electronic, ballads, rnb, folk, funk to name a few so i know what i'm capable of. And if i find some great music i'd be able to recognize it quite easily. And that's EWO for me. It's very matured album that really hits hard from start to finish. There's no gimmick nor filler on this album and the element of surprise is everywhere. Not to mention the meticulous songwriting. Really great album.

Twice have been my top artist for three years straight since discovering K-pop, and each time I go back into their discography I discover a song I didn’t know about. I’ve been recovering from a neurophysiological condition called Misophonia which gives me an intense reaction to certain sounds (high pitches for me in particular) and Twice has been so fundamental in my journey to recovery from that. I remember my first time ever hearing some of their songs that I loved them so much I could stand to ignore the high sounds for a short time. Now I’m much better and I can stand the high pitches, and I recently rediscovered Get Loud and Girls Like Us and I was blown away by how good they are. I graduated high school last June with the Twice logo on my cap with my favorite twice album and song on it as well. I love Twice’s music.
