I will never forget when Johnny Paycheck died there was no money for his funeral but George Jones stepped up to the plate and payed for his funeral. He is buried in the same cemetery as George Jones and not far away.

The first time I heard Mr. Jones and Mr. Jackson sang "A Good Year For The Roses", they were in a studio. I could feel and see a Country Music Torch going from Mr. Jones to Mr Jackson. What truly amazes me just how big the Country Music industry is as a family. I totally love Country music.

Love that song. They are both great. Probably my two favorite country music singers.

Sadly we're looking at the end of country music since the new generation of pseudo pop rap glam CMT MTV video stars has taken over and killed country...Ill stick to what used to be.

@johnmetcalfe2482 country is stronger now then its been for years. The real artists aren't on the radio. Charley Crockett, Vincent Neil Emerseon, Emily Nenni, Teddy and the Roughriders, Colter Wall. There's a ton of excellent real country being made right now

I guess it's really true nice guys do finish last in Nashville I used to do everything for the Jones boys even though it was not my job I would carry Ron's equipment in these guys when it was raining and get their equipment to the bus for them and that was not me even my job I did everything I could for those people and as soon as I got an album credit with George and got a little bit farther up the ladder Ron Gaddis Bobby Burkhead and Jim Owen sabotage me and lied about me and got me fired
