I decided to watch this video in the month of George W. Bush's birthday, 10 years since the dedication, and around the weekend that I visited the museum 2 years ago. This dedication ceremony was inspiring. I was amazed to see the many global leaders present, hearkening back to the 2nd Bush administration. The speeches were all great. It was heartening to hear all the current and former presidents speak so nobly about our shared aim to do our part to edify the USA, the country we care about so deeply.

George Bush no. 43 was a very funny man with a great sense of humor to go along with. He would have been a fine president had he not gone to war with Iraq in 2003. He fell for the stupid advice given to him by two men who should have been tried as war criminals in any other country if not for the United States. The story so goes that Dick Cheney the vice president and Donald Rumsfeld the defence secretary pushed him into that even though Colin Powell the secretary of state was totally against it as being a soldier of the highest order he knew the pitfalls of such a haphazard action as he had been a first hand witness to the Vietnam War. As later events would prove just that infact the cost of the Iraq invasion ran to a total of nearly 2.5 trillion dollars twice that of the Vietnam War. George Bush had done the right thing by waging a war against Afghanistan after 9/11 and had made the country secure against any future attack, and therein lies the difference between George Bush no. 41 and no. 43 the senior knew where to draw the line and as soon as Kuwait was liberated he halted the allied forces march at the doors of Iraq and immediately put sanctions on it to keep it on leash. The senior Bush will go down in history as the finest one term president of the United States, no doubt about it.

So true about 43! Cheney and Rumsfeld were completely responsible for the invasion of Iraq, not Bush.
@HK-pp9ig
@HK-pp9ig Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. President Bush #43 is my favorite president. The issue of Iraq invasion that you bring up, is a little more complicated than it seems. I regret the lives lost, and respect the families who lost their loved ones. The reverberations of the Iraq invasion will have lasting effect in the Middle East. I am not a politician, but Iraq was a cruel dictatorship of a mad man and his elite gang; not only they terrorized their own people, but they posed a grave threat to the stability in the region. Crumbling down such a vicious dictatorship gave hope to millions of people in Middle East and North Africa to raise against their regimes and fight for democracy. The region is plagued by a convoluted religion, medieval hierarchical clan rules, norms and customs that has been in place for hundred of years, and are virtually impossible to change. Breaking down the strongest military regime and country in the region created the chain reaction of regime overthrows. The situation there is far from ideal, but at least now people have hopes that they have a chance to fight for democracy. Iranian theocracy is on the way of falling any year now... The world is better and safer when democracy rules.

@@BULL.173 Look up for example CNN, Fox News, or any other OFFICIAL News source. You can also read Wikipedia, which is edited by historians, read his biography from the White House website. I’ve come across these texts where they claim he’s a war criminal, but as I’ve researched the site, i’ve always found out it was untrustworthy. I’ve googled about the American Presidents (nope, i’m not American, but I still follow the News and historians from there, even if i’m from Europe) and read about George Bush 41 in particular. I’ve read many texts, and in none of the trustworthy ones do they claim he was a war criminal. So please have some source criticism and research more about it. I’ve googled about his “war crimes (which are non-existant)” and I’ve NEVER found any confirmation from any trustworthy source. I suggest you Google more about Bush Sr. He literally was a WAR HERO! And he practically dedicated his life for public service. R.I.P. President Bush and your beloved Barbara

@@kunkkufani Thanks for responding. I have to be honest, the whole "war hero" angle doesn't work on me. I served two deployments in Afghanistan as a combat medic with the 173rd Airborne. I don't consider myself a hero nor does it excuse me for any of my shortcomings. So frankly I don't really care what Bush 41 did during WW2. And seriously dude, if you are relying on wikipedia and google searches for reliable information then you're blind without a cane. Bush 43 duped us into a war with false claims of WMDs. 6,000 dead Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis...for what? Fabricated evidence and lies. I'm telling you, I love America. But I put zero faith in politicians because they lie to us compulsively. Why should I have Stockholm Syndrome for any government that is obsessed with power, money, and violating my God given rights as an American? I don't respect leaders that send our bravest into phony conflicts designed to make our political and business elite millions of dollars.

Quite a while haven’t seen this video. I guess it’s always extremely hard to be President’s position for anyone. Either govern by America’s principles of Foundation and Constitution, or execute Honorable President’s power, or agreed and supported by other Congressmen, or being a little kinder, or convincing others why and how, or trying hard to satisfy Americans...etc. It’s just never easy as well as hard to be appreciated by all too. No wonder, every elected President end up all turned gray hairs and none exceptions at all. Still every elected President will have to try own best to unite our country America together always for America’s greatness by America’s principles as their best together with others. Hard jobs and less appreciations and only one elected President every 4 years to govern from 1 or 2 terms. This’s why support our elected President Trump to get things done quickly together is also important. This is why I believe that as a great nation America, every President represents one page of America’s history to shine domestically or internationally. Love them or not, like them or not, they will always be one page of our great nation America’s one page of history or partial shine in the world always. If one page or more pages are torn, partial shines of America’s greatness would be diminished. Think deeper, maybe will see the pictures better as why, I guess. This is why I believe the unity of our country through our own generosity of forgiveness and kindness nature and learning experiences from principles at any critical time. Always be united together as one nation and govern by our country America’s own established principles of Foundation and Constitution together always. Actually the living Presidents club is a good idea to summarize or conclude leadership experiences of great, better, good, ok, or all kinds of the mistakes together for the experiences of the future better Governing leadership experiences, I guess. No one can be perfect and no one wants to be the worst and only can try own best in any free election system countries, I guess. As any elected President is never easy to face all different angles. Govern by principles, balance between agreed or disagreed, encourage Americans of all’s own efforts to work harder and live better as well as paying attentions to those really need helps, facing toward aggressive enemies in the world as well as pressing the aggressiveness by wisdoms and better strategies altogether, also unite many as possible to form strong allies by philosophy of one more friend as better as well as one less enemy as luckier. Even the well-known foreign policy expert the former President Bush 41 may still had headaches to him by tedious complicated foreign policies. I guess. This is how every elected President’s gray hair come from. This is why I believe our own generosity and kindness nature will be the best medicines for our angers and madness. Life is so short, mind too much to each other without releasing by own generosity and kindness nature, only cost our own health and happiness together. When we hope others better by learning experiences from mistakes, we will all be learned together again and do better things quickly together also. The most important thing is learning experiences to do better things quickly together instead of hatred toward each other forever. I pray for our own generosity of forgiveness and kindness nature this time will be able to reunite together again and govern by our country America’s own established principles of Foundation and Constitution quickly together soon. God bless America’s greatness by principles and unity. Thank you President Reagan, President Bush 41, President Bush 43, President Clinton and President Obama, also President Trump. Let’s forgive each other this time and reunite together again by our own generosity forgiveness and kindness nature this time and unite together again by our country America’s own principles to get things done quickly together again, govern by principles of laws quickly and make America great always. God bless America always.

It’s hard to be President. Much effort to achieve, hard to be appreciated too, I guess. The former President Bush 41 was getting old and not very healthy at the time. However, he still attended such events as his own effort toward America’s greatness by his patriotism, kindness, generosity and decency nature as well as his humbleness. Let’s forgive each other this time and unite together again by our generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes together and reunite together again, and move forward quickly together and focusing on getting things done quickly together again as one nation for one indivisible America’s future greatness together and make America great by America’s principles and patriotism afterward together again. No one can be 100% perfect and no one wants to be the worst, but all can we do is trying our own very best. Take care of family, or manage a business either small or larger ones are absolutely very different with Governing and leading a country. Any great country as America’s greatness all needs a deep visions of the r country America’s own principles combined with the America’s strong unity by principles and understanding the right timing through right handling by own generosity of forgiveness nature from learning experiences from mistakes and principles altogether. Without principles, America’s greatness will fall apart, learning experiences will understand more and do better things quickly. Without unity, America’s greatness will also fall apart. America’s principles and generosity of forgiveness nature this time and learning experiences will help us to reunite together again from our country America’s principles for America’s greatness quickly by recognition of the importance of the principles altogether to govern afterward. I have seen that our country America’s all Presidents are hardly ever can be all assembled together to celebrate our country America’s greatness. Just not many such opportunities there often will left for us to see always. Learning experiences from mistakes to each other and appreciate each other’s services by our generosity of forgiveness nature and decency nature altogether are hard for everyone, but if we think about God’s generosity mind to human’s kindness, we may willing to learn more to understand more and do better things quickly for America’s greatness by America’s principles and patriotism by our own generosity of forgiveness nature. Reunite together again as one nation under America’s principles and greatness by our own generosity of forgiveness nature this time may wake up all leaderships’ principles to govern from hearts to hearts too. Although I don’t understand any politics well at all, but I believe political mistakes are very different with killers and robbers. Political mistakes will be able to learn quickly through reviewing and learning experiences from mistakes quickly for America’s greatness, I guess. I also believe that great leadership often accompanied with great or greater generosity of mind to look into the future prospects for the whole country America’s greatness by principles too. President Bush’s whole families inherited from their parents the former President Bush 41and former 1st Lady Barbara Bush’s Principles which accompanied their own generosity nature, kindness and decency altogether as a great governing leadership. No wonder, the former President Reagan’s deep visions made right choice of choosing him to be his trusted Vice President Bush, I guess. Let’s forgive each other this time and unite together again by our generosity of forgiveness nature, get rid of the ideologies of unknown systems, govern by our country America’s own established principles afterward for America’s greatness. So Americans of all will be able to live better life and build America altogether again.

Each elected President represents our country America’s free election system for freedoms and equality of opportunities principles. Each elected President also appears one page of America’s history to shine in the world. This is why I believe our country America’s unity for America’s greatness by our own generosity of forgiveness and kindness nature to each other’s service, or contributions or mistakes this time and unite together again by our country America’s own established Foundation and Constitution to govern quickly again toward our country America’s greatness together. Row the boat together again by America’s principles for greatness altogether. Wish the former President Bush and former 1st Lady be healthy always.

I believe our country America’s own established laws to govern for America’s principles of freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities as well as America’s safety, prosperity and unity as one nation under America’s principles for America’s long lasting greatness. We are all Americans and humans and may do good things together and may make some mistakes and regret together and try to do better things quickly together. However, we all love our great country America dearly for sure. I believe that we may have different views each other from time to time. Only America’s own established principles of Foundation and Constitution will always as the torch to lead us into the right direction to avoid more possible mistakes and correct mistakes quickly together. We are in one nation as Americans and humans together and love our country America together and make sure America always be free by principles, booming entrepreneurship spirit for a strong economy and defense capabilities as well as the equality of opportunities for all to enjoy freedoms together by America’s recognitions and principals. I guess that we may shouldn’t hate each other by our own generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes. We will be able to do better things together again by our learning experiences quickly from the mistakes and principles together. Let’s forgive each other this time and reunite together again by our own grace of generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes to move forward quickly together and get things done quickly together and govern by principles afterward together again. I guess the President Club for former Presidents to gather together may help the unity of our country and summarize and conclude the leadership experiences together, absorb the quality and forsake the mistakes to ensure America’s long-standing greatness by America’s own recognitions and principles together as a symbolic image of our country America’s greatness of the safety, prosperity and unity as well as freedoms and entrepreneurship spirit principles altogether. Absolutely President Bush families’ nature of the decency and kindness to help America’s principles and greatness by learning experiences from mistakes together this time is a more positives way to bring our country back into the right track together again by our generosity forgiveness and kindness nature to learn more to understand more and do better things quickly together and govern by our country America’s own established laws afterwards together for a peaceful in order society to live and build America together again and always. Thanks to share for our learning experiences.

I am a Korean and I am a retired sergeant in the Korean army. National Emblem March is always a magnificent and wonderful march. I think this song was made for Passon Review. In Korea, the National Emblem March is always played in Pass On Review under the influence of the United States. America is wonderful.
