In preparation for my trip to Germany, I had two of my German friends give me a citizenship test. Do I have what it takes to be a German citizen? Do you? Take the test and find out.

Cesar Parzianello Oh OK Cesar I misunderstood. I'm subbed to Lukas and Stephan too and I agree with you. It was fun when they were staying with Will & RJ, who I've met by the way at the NOLA 689 meet-up and they are the nicest guys you ever want to meet and a day I will never forget. :)

Cesar Parzianello I hope you do too. They couldn't have been nicer. They hugged everybody, posed for photographs with us individually, and made us all feel like friends. They even talked on my phone to a friend of mine who is also a huge fan of theirs in Florida. She cried after. It was really a rewarding experience.

I got 7 out of the 10 right. I have been with Lukas and Stephan since their first video. I first saw them when they came to visit you and Will last year in Spain. Congrats RJ for the good results on your test.

R.J.,I know you touch on a lot of subjects. Have you ever done any works on the impact of growing older (50+) as a single gay,married gay couple,etc. Also maybe the acceptance of older gays by younger gays in the community.

Hi. I have 9 correct answer :-) My wrong answer is about German Anthems. This test is very easy for me. Maybe because I'm from Poland, state of German neigbour, and I politologist, speciality EU :-)

10/10, i live in the neighboring state of The Netherlands and my mom is german, i salute you Landsleute!! The Germans are the nicest people within the EU, and they are an absolute powerhouse within the union. Espescially Germans from the former Eastern Germany are the nicest people i've ever met, god i love to drink with germans.

RJ for your information the land mass of the United States is 9,857,306 km2 and that of Europe is 10,180, 000 km2 so you could not fit Europe into the United States !

Wow, don't wanna sound racist (I know I do, sorry, still trying to get prejudices against Americas out of my had but there are many people who are not helping it! lol) but I really didn't thought you get so many right, you are incredibly good educated! I made the test a few times for fun and there are some questions that can even be difficult for educated Germans (and I think about 20% of us wouldn't even Pass). So congratulations!

You asked why it is important to know the number of member states of the EU. As a citizen of a member state of the EU, you're automatically a citizen of the European Union, too. That's important because there are European elections and a strong sense of identification with the EU as well as with the member state one is living in. The EU is almost like a federal state, just a little looser. The Parliament of the EU is in Brussels and Strasbourg.

I am a citizen of an EU . European country and I feel Zippooooo for Europe as it is controlled by Germany who murdered my relatives, forced my Mutti to flee Austria in 1938 and robbed our building in Berlin in 1938, 1948 and for the 3rd time in 1992 after they were foolishly permitted to Reunify by the dumb Allies. My loyalty is to my European country. Certainly not to Germany nor the stooppppid EU. It was a big boooboo to allow Germany to reunify in 1990 and Europe will one day regret it as the biggest blunder in post war history. The Brits are right to drop out and get their sovereignty back again. After reunification Germany reverted back to the Hitler days plundering real estate in East Germany belonging to 6 Austrian Jews expropriated by Germany in 1938, and 1,000 Austrian citizens who lost their properties in east Germany / DDR in 1948. All done legally like the Nazis by Helmut the crook Kohl who spent his summer holidays in Austria and Theo Waigel the Bavarian crook Minister of Finance and Fraud and the witch Sabine Leuthenberger Schnarenberger, Minister of Justice / Injustice.

I missed the question on the German anthem. I had forgotten that the Federal Republic only uses the third verse as its anthem. Oh, well.

even the first verse doesn't start with the words of A. and C. A. was the GDR anthem (not even the beginning of it) and C. was the 'ode to joy' (the EU anthem).

This is really weird. My Mutti / Mum did not have to take a German test to become a German citizen. It was rammed down her throat. She woke up on Sunday, March 13th, 1938 and saw these German murderers / crooks / soldiers marching down the streets of Vienna with their Austrian Nazi pals. There were signs throughout Vienna saying "Juden Zuruck nach Palestina" / Jews go back to Palestine. They then gave her this stupid German Passport / Toilet Paper / dreck,with a big red J for Jew on it and added a new name Sarah. My Opa got a new name added also "Israel." This is why I had no idea you need to take a Test to become German. I thought you got German citizenship automatically. Wow!!! I only got 5 out of 9 right. My Mutti probably would have failed the Test had the Germans given her a Test in 1938.
