I think the underground Redfern station has un-used underground platforms above it too that line up with these but are not connected.

We’re the platforms tunnels ever considered to be converted for Sydney’s metro rail network? Next to the light rail trams network?

They were considered for the Airport Link and the Metro, yet were never usead as we know today.
