I continue to survive as a Deinosuchus, filled with luck and action, It proved to be much harder than I expected! Deinosuchus is a basal alligatoroid crocodilian from the Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous epoch. In The Isle, the Deinosuchus is an Apex Predator. I hope you enjoy my story based Pvp gameplay video!

The Isle is intended to be a gritty, open-world survival horror game. Explore vast landscapes of dense forest and open plains, traverse treacherous mountains and wade through dark swamps where horrors lurk. Hidden within are ruins that hold insight as to what came before. Through it all, keep in mind there is only one goal: survive.

fr i killed 2 much larger cannibal deinos on the shore and healed off the bleed mainly because they didn't know about alt bite, you can go a long way with your dino just by knowing what it can do and how to disadvantage other players

I just lost my crocodile yesterday on one of the EU servers! I had helped so many people out and one guy just came from behind and while I wasn't paying attention, he got the jump on me and bit my head a few times first -- thus he won the whole stand off. Watching this makes me feel better about losing that croc (I had that guy for weeks!) so thank you!! This was so well done!! As is all of your videos honestly.

Here's a tip owl that you may or may not know: you can hold the scent key under the water and it will let up bubbles that look exactly like pteranodon fishing hotspots.

I also call them crocs. When some "know it all" tells me that Deinos are in fact gators. I remind them that gators, caymans and even gharials are in the crocodilian family. Plus "Deino" is just one typo away from "Dino", which is just made for confusion. By the way love your vids, man! Especially those with documentary-style and narrating.

Actually I believe that deinosuchus are actually crocodiles as back then gators were just about to become a thing, so there was only crocodiles.

@@crimsonhunts3786 You mean as I wrote? Deinosuchus is in the family of Alligatoroidea, wich is one of 3 superfamilies of crocodylians. (As of what we know at the moment, shit changes in paleonthology.) Actually!

Honestly idk whats up with all the anti cannibal bias in the playerbase for envirma, I never used to see it in legacy.

@@splunky5156 for deino i think it's because you instantly detect another deinos, mostly travel in what is essentially a hallway, and are at such a large disadvantage when choosing how to get somewhere compared to other dinos. In legacy I'm not even sure if I saw cannibals all that much anyway, sure there were some dedicated rex cannibals but I saw mega packs way more often that you could just slip into, usually there was also plenty of dino variety too

For some reason all the crocs at NW are always super friendly, usually because there is always food around and its a hotspot, sometimes you can find a conspiring duo but that is not the norm. Great vid as always!

The best way to catch a pteranodon on land as deino or any animal is using alt bite when it swoops in. At least that is what I’ve found. I have killed lots of Petra’s using that strategy. Great video!

The server I am on is the opposite, that rock area you were in with all the crocs is where the mix packers/cannibals go

I think using ctrl or alt has some function like maintaining current depth or sticking to the bottom of the river. Haven't tried it myself, but i heard Gabriele mention it once.

You hold alt while swimming og sprinting to maintain your position while being able to freely move your camera, without your dino moving with you mouse and control makes you sink so you can walk on the bottom.

heres a little tip, water and food actually effect healing a little bit, not many people know this but yeah its true, try to keep your fluids and food up before healing

Deinosuchus are crocodylians the same as both alligators and crocodiles. However, they are more closely related to alligators. However, I couldn't care less what terms people use. Just replied since you said, "alligator is the inappropriate term".

you gotta try deino when the update hits. Damn near 10 minutes of oxygen instead of 5. makes a huge difference in hunts >D that plus skins that blend in, make for a very interesting experience. You're gonna love it.

Would you recommend playing Evrima? I just recently got back into playing The Isle and i've been playing Legacy trying to learn to be a better player. I've watched a few of your videos and that one Utah video fighting that pack of Pachys and Stegos got me interested in Evrima, but I also heard it was pretty buggy.

it is a crocodilian it is not it own class at all, any of an order of reptiles that includes the crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and related extinct forms.

You have to go to betas and change it to evrima

Really trying to get into this game but the community lowkey sucks. I haven't been able to get passed Juvie with any dino legacy or evrima because I keep getting killed. Very rarely I starve to death but when I do it's a starving simulator with no AI.

Y'know, you're not incorrect in calling the deino and croc. It is a member of the order crocodilia. Calling it an alligator or a crocodile are both correct. All alligators are crocodiles, not all crocs are gators. The people complaing just simply don't know what they're talking about lol.
