Great message. This is all about the Lord's plans. He is the author and finisher of our faith, and has a pattern for each individual to follow. I would say that MOST people are not called to be single. I like how he said no desire to be with the opposite sex. Staying single always entails not dating along with not marrying. In some cases, people who will get married have to get prepared for their mate and stay single for a period of time. Marriage is a lot of work initially. After doing a survey, I find most people with arranged marriages are shocked when the Lord blesses them with a mate. Praise the Lord!

Thanks for the clarity in this video, I have always desired marriage, a Godly spouse that is. However this desire is yet to be fulfilled. I am still maturing in my walk with God and there's been times when I literally pray for God to just rip the desire for marriage out of my heart but it appears that prayer is not being heard because the desire is still very much there no matter how much I try to fight it. I just don't want to get to the point where I am idolising marriage if I am not doing so already. I watched your video providing further clarity on the fact that there is nothing wrong with seeking clarity from God on why you are single if marriage is something you desire (Prov 2:6). I feel encouraged to boldly approach God with this inquiry and I pray for answered prayers. Thanks to you both and may God bless you and give you the grace and wisdom to keep ministering to us 🙏

I always interpreted Jesus' words to mean that not everyone can accept that marriage is for life and remarriage is not permitted except for fornication!
