Im seventh day Adventist and always wanted to meet messianic Jews. I often believe that I keep the Shabbat holy in not the best manner. I found this video to be very helpful.

Everyone who believes in God must ( try) to keep the Ten Commandments, I’ve just never been so aware of Shabbat .

Revelation 14 warns us that we are to worship God who "made heaven and earth and the sea and fountains of waters"....this is making a direct reference to the 4th commandment of God to keep the seventh day sabbath holy. "Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, in it you shall not do any work; you nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your STRANGER that is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made HEAVEN AND EARTH AND THE SEA and all that is in them and rested the SEVENTH DAY, therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it." Exodus 20:8-11 KJV See here that Revelation 14 is referring to the One who made heaven and earth and the sea.....meaning God the FATHER. Revelation 14 is a WARNING to obey the 4th commandment, the sabbath day commandment because God is going to judge all who reject HIS sabbath day of rest!! Revelation 14:6-12 says...."And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear GOD and give glory to HIM; for the hour of His judgment is come: and WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH AND THE SEA AND FOUNTAINS OF WATERS. And there followed another angel saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice, If ANY MAN worship the beast and his image and receive HIS MARK in his forehead and in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presrnce of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no REST day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: HERE ARE THEY THAT KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD and the FAITH of Jesus (Yeshua)." You see.....only those who keep GOD's commandments go into the Kingdom of God!!! Sunday is NOT the sabbath and Revelation 14 is warning all men to keep the seventh day holy for only the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD!!! The Catholic Church claims that sunday is their "mark of authority"....research Cardinal Joseph Gibbons statement on the sabbath, he admits that they changed the sabbath day to sunday without any Scriptural authority!! Daniel prophesied that the antichrist would think to change "times and laws"....see Daniel 7:25 KJV

God commands everyone to keep the SEVENTH day holy and to say that He accepts any other day as a day of rest is FALSE DOCTRINE. God made only the seventh day holy and only God can make a day holy, man cannot make a day holy therefore to keep sunday holy is to say that man can make a day holy which means that you are putting yourself in the place of God, which is idolatry! Prophecy teaches us that keeping a manmade sabbath is the worship of the beast and everyone who worships the beast receives a mark in their right hand and in their forehead. This mark is spiritual. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 teaches us that God's commandments are to be a sign upon our hand and a reminder between our eyes (in the forehead)....the hebrew word used for sign (oth) also means MARK....so God is saying that His commandments are a MARK on our hand and in our forehead (memory), this is a SPIRITUAL mark, therefore NOT obeying God's commandments are also a spiritual mark on our hand and in our forehead that we worship the beast!! Yeshua said in Matthew 5 do not think that He came to destroy the Law (of His heavenly Father) and in John 7 He said that His doctrine is NOT His but HIS FATHER'S....meaning that the doctrine He teaches is the very doctrine of His heavenly Father. The heavenly Father says in Proverbs 4:2, "For I give you good DOCTRINE, do not forsake My LAW." This means His Law is His doctrine. Yeshua said everyone who does His Father's will is His brother, and sister, and mother!! Revelation 22:14-15 says, "Blessed are they that DO His commandments, that they may have right to THE TREE OF LIFE, and may ENTER INTO THE GATES into the city, for OUTSIDE are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers and murderers and idolaters and whosoever loves and makes a lie." Only those who keep GOD's commandments (do not murder, do not have other gods, etc) will enter into His kingdom (the city). 1 John 3:4 says that sin is the transgression of the Law! Daniel prophesied that the antichrist would "think to change times and laws", meaning that the antichrist would change the Ten Commandments of God. The Roman Catholic Church admits that they changed the sabbath to sunday WITHOUT any Scriptural authority. Research Cardinal Joseph Gibbons statement about changing the sabbath to sunday!! God made the seventh day holy as a memorial of creation and He says in Exodus 31:16-17 that His sabbath is a sign (mark) between He and His people!! The mark of the beast is the opposite of keeping God's sabbath, it is keeping a manmade sabbath (sunday). Teach the people the truth and do not lie to the people because if you do then you are the false prophet!!! The sabbath was made for MAN, this means every man is required by GOD to keep His sabbath, which is saturday NOT sunday!!
