For everyone wondering where the anime is, so far it is only on dvd in Japan with no translation. It was limited availability from their kick starter. We can only hope that they will release it publicly or a holder of the dvd will upload it with translations.

Update from the future! It’s now up on Crunchyroll as a three episode series! I do find it odd it wasn’t promoted at all from what I can tell, I had to go searching for it, but it’s available now for everyone to watch!

I really was not expecting to see Irish on an anime trailer. Siúil a rúin is an old Irish song, it translates to 'walk, my love'. However it's spelled here as rún which means secret, not sure if that's intentional or not

wow, this looks so different it doesn't even feel like an anime that would be broadcasted in tv and streamed on crunchy; but more like some movie or project by a small group. It reminds me of over the garden wall in that eerie but also calming atmosphere of isolation in a forest

@@Blakeevk nope... the movie ending didn't really have a meaning cause they ended it without giving any answers + they skipped a lot original content from the original work...When the movie arrives to the end, that's not really the end(cause there's still more) but I enjoyed very much the animation, the music and the characters 🥰

This gives me acute "Wolfwalkers" vibes. Maybe it's the title ("Siúil, a Rún" is Irish Gaelic for "Walk, my Love", which is also the title of a beautiful Irish folk song)? Hmm. The art is really nice, i can see this being a story for all ages for the ages. We also need more parenthood stories in anime, especially those with fathers as the MC. That being said, this seems like Somali and the Forest spirit and The Ancient Magus’s Bride put together. I’m afraid it might be too derivative to be well received and find it’s own niche. Guess we’ll have to see once it comes out.

Did we just watch the entire anime summarized? Saves me a viewing. In all seriousness: Crow-goat dude seems pretty cool. The animation of him putting his hand down, and her turning to view it, is some of the most pefectly smooth animation I've ever seen.
