I can definitely hear how demanding opera style vocals are like, listen to how open he voice sounds in that high register. I just can't enjoy it because of the extreme vibrato. To me it's like they never give a chord time to resonate. I also understand that the vibrato can help with masking small tuning errors but it just always seemed a bit much to me

You must be wrong! This is Schubert's Serenade, not a kid's piano piece. Its middle part is too hard for a child. I played it after 8 years of piano lessons. I loved it and it's still one of my favourites.

@@ojala5555 That's you. This is me. I know the piece well. It is difficult. That's why I hated it. I much prefer Beethoven and Bach.

@@gailhall6283 You can't even tell the difference between good and bad performance🤷♀️. Listen to Khatia Buniatishvili's performance of this piece and you will know what a good performance is ! Great pianists do not perform children's repertoire on stage. Your piano teacher wouldn't have even let you try to learn this piece as a kid.

@@ojala5555 You do not know me or my piano teachers. Who do you think you are? Take your narcissism elsewhere. I was merely sharing a memory, which does not belong to you. Argue with someone else.

@@gailhall6283 I simply meant that your "memory" doesn't sound believable. But congrats on being the only one in the world who has hated such a beautiful and sensitive melody ever created! However, those who have learned the piano enough can enjoy playing this piece and cannot hate it because it touches their soul, no matter how hard it is to learn.

Silly question if we want part 2 or not. We always do! Your talent is amazing, and that is what draws so many other musicians to you. They would not bother if they did not know you were of a similar level of musicianship.

Couldn't agree more! I love how Emil played the piano. The soprano is Nuri Park and here is one of her stages with the same Schubert song: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mJ-ZdrOTnt-3p5s.html

@@swjfnwjf4307 I don't think she is Nuri Park. Their voice sounds very different. She sounds more like Jiayu Jin. There is a few video online.
