When you talk about sheldon contributing nothing of worth, what exactly are you referring to? He is a character from a comedy show, the only contribution he should make is to make us laugh.

He is not afraid of enjoying his feminine side nor is he doing everything he can to be straight up masculine. His behavior and characteristics makes him far more interesting than the rest of the same repetitive white masculine heterosexual men in the show. Unfortunately, him being different means that people call him gay (or in worse cases 'fag') which is stupid because 'gay' means attracted to the same sex which Raj is not. He wanted a girl's night out, he got it. (It's a lot of fun, trust me). If you took away the insults Sheldon doles out to his friends and family you have a guy who could be interesting IF they addresses his problems/disorders... His chronic OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder), NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), PPD (Paranoid Personality Disorder). Sheldon is somewhere in the High functioning Autism Spectrum and this could be address and also be educational. (Yes it is possible to address autism in a comedy show, if its possible in children's tv show, its possible for adults to learn about it too). But they don't do this, they make it seem like it is something to be made fun of.

The reason i restrain from further insults is because i am no longer trolling, im actually taking this conversation serious now. Raj is what feminists like to see. But anyway, Sheldon actually defies the gender stereotypes as he is (if you didn't know) asexual (or was, before Amy came and ruined everything). Girl's night out is fun for GIRLS, this is why it is called a GIRLS night out. You are right, they could teach about all the disorders that sheldon suffers from, but then again this isn't an educational program, its a comedy tv show and the only thing they should be worried about is making us laugh. We can just google things we don't know.

For most of my life, I do not pay attention to clothes and shopping. I bought clothes from from Forever 21 for a few times (maybe 2 times) but I did not think of the name of the store. Then I watched this show and figured out "Forever 21" = "Forever 21 years old" by Amy's "Forever 63" shop. I told my boy-friend "So, 21 means 21 years old". I think it says a lot about his growth as a character. Raj was terrified of women and then when he loosened up, he was a serial dater (in a manner of fashion). He was such a romantic that he loved love and loved being in love and sharing that love with a lover. For him, to love himself and being single and being okay with it is a huge step for him. Sheldon and Amy couldn't even human and by the end, they're married. Penny and Leonard were and still are completely opposite but they're both in it for the long haul and are now with child, which is serious growth for both of them. Raj wasn't supposed to have a someone at the end because he had to learn what its like to put himself first.
